order was originally placed, and voided the credit card transaction. When I cancelled the order, I included a note explaining that we were not able to fill the order due to the product not being in stock. The next day, Mr [redacted] called our store, and spoke with Chris, who explained that the product was not in stock. Due to an apparent miscommunication between Mr [redacted] and Chris, Mr [redacted] was under the impression that I would be calling him back, and Chris was under the impression that no further action was required on our part. When I received the complaint letter from the Revdex.com regarding this matter, I immediately called Mr [redacted], and apologized for the apparent miscommunication. Apparently when I processed the order cancellation, Mr [redacted] did not receive the automated email from our website with the attached note explaining why the order had to be cancelled, which led to the confusion and misunderstanding. After my conversation with Mr [redacted], I believe that we came to a mutual understanding that there is nothing further that can be done on our part to fulfill his original order, due to us not having the product in stock, and due to our prompt cancellation of his order and voiding of the associated credit card charge.
