Top Class

Review: I took my [redacted] to Top Class for repair work in March-April 2014 following a snowstorm accident that left me with damaged car body parts (e.g. front fender, hood, driver-side door). After having me wait 6 weeks for parts and being unresponsive to calls and emails I received my car back. They told me that dents on the hood and above the driver door were not included in the assessment, and therefore not repaired (although they were on the assessment and should have been repaired). Also, the door was misaligned and couldnt lock. What was repaired was repaired with recycled parts, which is why it took so long. They said this was per the assessment, which was a lie when I checked with the adjuster. The adjuster said they could use recycled parts if they were in new condition and readily available but if not new parts should directly have been used. However, they made me wait 6 weeks while they found used parts in order to save money, and the parts they used were damaged as well (e.g. cracks in paint, scratches, dents, paint not matching correctly). After complaining enough about the door not locking they later fixed this, and I found out that weekend that even after they fixed the locking issue it leaks in the rain. It also has constant wind noise and sounds like the door is ajar under normal conditions. I reported all of this to my insurance company ([redacted]), but they said they pay the repair shops before the work is done so there is nothing they can do. The recommended I try and follow up again with the business (for which they have ignored my phone calls and emails), and if they would not repair the car to file a complaint through the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund so I can take my car to another shop to have it repaired correctly. I now know if I request a replacement from them they will again try and cut corners and give me the run-around as they have for the last 2 1/2 months.
