This is to update you on my original complaint against Top Coat Sealcoating and Paving submitted on 8/18/16.On August 25, the owner of Top Coat Sealcoating and Paving contacted us by phoneHe left a message as we were not home at that timeHe was angry, said he had never been reported to the
Revdex.com before, and that we just wanted something for nothingHe said "I'm done, have somebody else do your drivewayHe would pay us back our money minus his cost for digging it up and hauling away." He did not say how much or whenWhen we returned home that day, my husband called him and asked when should we expect our moneyHe replied Monday or TuesdayI looked up the dates and Monday was 8/29/16, Tues 8/30/16.Since we have not seen any money and time is wasting my husband contacted him again on Wed Sept 7,He uses a cell phone and his voicemail was fullStill no word and no money from him.Because it is getting late in the year we did contact another paverHe gave us an estimate and completed a neat professional job for us on Tues Sept 6, He dug out the old topcoat left by the above person and completed the job for $1500.I fear we have been taken advantage of and will probably never see our money, but it will be reassuring to know that he will never be able to do this to anyone else.Sincerely,*** *** ***
