Company's response below: ***, This letter is in response to ***’s complaint against Drees Homes on 10/12/ Mrs*** closed on her home at *** *** *** *** on 7/24/ We met with her on 9/23/for her day follow up and were told that they
had found a couple of shingles in the yard and had a concern that the shingles had blown off the roof We scheduled a roofer to inspect her roof on 9/30/ The roofer walked the job and could not find any defects His opinion was that the shingles that had blown off were left over scrap shingles that were never taken off the roof We then sent the roofer out a second time to check the roof again on 8/26/as a courtesy With regards to the siding panel that has been damaged, this was inspected by both my *** *** and myself at the one year walk through and we determined that the panel was damaged by yard equipment and that is not covered by our warranty We explained this to the ***’s and they were not satisfied with our explanation The kitchen faucet has been fixed It was taken care of on 10/26/ Please feel free to reach out for any further assistance. Thank you for reaching out to us with the above referenced complaint. Our customers closed on 03/05/with a warranty time frame of year post closing. In looking back over our records, we have been to this home multiple times to repair the roof. We will be meeting with
the homeowner on Tuesday, 7/11/2017, at 2pm. If the area is determined that it was an install error, we will be repairing the roof at no charge to the customer. Drees Homes stands behind the workmanship and quality of every home that we build. Regards,
