WE PURCHASED COUPONS FOR VARIOUS CAR WASH SERVICES. WHEN I PRESENTED MY COUPON FOR A BASIC $8 CAR WASH, THEY INFORMED ME THAT THEY WERE NO LONGER HONORING THIS COUPON. THEY TOOK TWO OF MY COUPONS AND MY EMAIL AND SAID THEY WOULD CONTACT ME FOR REIMBURSEMENT.AFTER FAILING TO HEAR FROM THEM I WENT TO THE BUSINESS AND MET THE OWNER. HE SAID HE HAD A MANAGER WHO HE HAD GIVEN 500 CARDS TOO SELL.THE MANAGER APPARENTLY SOLD THE CARDS AND KEPT THE MONEY. HE FIRED HIM. THE OWNER SAID WHAT HIS MANAGER DID WAS WRONG AND HE WOULD NO LONGER HONOR THE CARDS.EVEN THOUGH I PAID FOR THE CARDS HE SAID HE WOULD NOT HONOR THEM OR REIMBURSE ME. IT IS ONLY 16 DOLLARS BUT I TOLD HIM THAT HE WOULD LOSE ME AS A CUSTOMER. HE SAID OKAY. WHAT A WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS.
I am unable to use the card for a free wash that was given to me from said customer. the reason being that our promotion is and has not ever changed. Purchase four washes receive two free and ONE on the day of purchase. the customer had purchased multiple cards, keep in mind they receive two free washes and ONE on that day even with multiple card purchases. the cashier had given the customer a free wash card to take with the customer to use when ever he wanted which is not how we do our promotions. so I have to refuse all wash cards with out my signature which is stated on the card its self.

*** MY COMPLAINT IS THAT I HAD A COUPON FOR A CAR WASH, ACTUALLY TWO COUPONS. THEY WOULD NOT HONOR THEM AND SAID THEY WOULD GET BACK TO ME.THEY NEVER DID. SO I WHEN I WENT TO SEE THE OWNER, HE EXPLAINED THAT AN EMPLOYEE HAD CHEATED ON HIM AND WAS GIVING OUT THESE CARDS. ALL I KNOW IS I RECEIVED THE CARDS AS CHRISTMAS GIFTS AND EXPECTED CAR WASHES, HE REFERENCES THAT HE HAD TO REFUSE TO HONOR BECAUSE HE HAD NOT SIGNED THEM. THE SIGNATURE EXPLANATION IS NEW. NO IDEA WHAT THIS IS ALL ABOUT. MY LOSS IS MINIMAL, 16 DOLLARS, BUT HIS BUSINESS PRACTICES ARE SUSPECT. MY FOUR DAUGHTERS AND SON IN LAWS WILL GO ELSEWHERE FOR CAR WASHES, AS WILL MY WIFE AND I. I WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT I CAN TO DISCOURAGE BUSINESS WITH HIM. MY WIFE SPENT SIGNIFICANT MONEY ON THESE CARDS. APPARENTLY THE REST OF MY FAMILY DID NOT EXPERIENCE ANY PROBLEM WITH THEIR CARDS.
