destroyed the axle he was to put intalked to the owner about putting an axle in truck, he said he could do it. When I went to pick it up I noticed it was done wrong. He said he would fix it, went back the second time to pick it up and the axle boots were torn and he damaged the sway bar end link. did not fill the differential with fluid and it had a leak. he refused to give me a refund or even answer my texts about it.Desired SettlementI would like to get a full refund of my bill witch I have a receipt, the total was $236.41Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]THE CUSTOMER WHICH IS A LADY ,THIS VEHICLE DOESNT BELONG TO[redacted] , CALLED ON 09/09/2014 AND ASKED IF WE COULD PUT IN A CV AXLE AND DRIVESHAFT THAT HER BOYFRIEND HAD REMOVED AND COULD NOT GET BACK IN AND IF WE WOULD USE THE PART THAT HE HAD ALREADY PURCHASED?I TOLD HER YES AND GOT A LABOR PRICE TOGETHER AND TOLD HER SINCE HE HAD ALREADY REMOVED THE PARTS THAT WE WOULDNT CHARGE FULL PRICE SHE WOULD ONLY PAY PARTIAL .SHE HAD IT TOWED AND THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER SAID IT WAS ONLY THE CV AXLE REMOVED,SO SHE CAME IN AND SIGNED AUTHORIZATION JUST TO PUT IN THE PARTS THEY SUPPLIED US WITH .THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WAS DONE ,WHEN SHE CAME TO GET IT THE MAN LOOKED AT THE REPAIR AND NOTICED A SNAP RING WASNT ON THERE ,HE CUSSED US AND THREATENED MY EMPLOYEES UNTIL THE MECHANIC ARRIVED AND THEN HE SPOKE TO HIM AND HE TOLD HIM THAT HE REPLACED EVERYTHING HE GAVE HIM WHICH WAS USED JUNK YARD PARTS AND THE SNAP RING WASNT THERE .THE CUSTOMERS BOYFRIEND THEN REALIZED HE HAD LEFT IT AT HOME AND WE TOLD HIM WE WOULD PUT IT ON IF HE WENT AND GOT IT SO HE DID AND THEN WE FOLLOWED THROUGH WITHOUT CHARGING HIM EXTRA .THE MECHANIC HAD STATED THE PART WAS NOT A GOOD PART BECAUSE IT WAS USED AND THAT THERE WAS ALREADY DAMAGE UNDER THE TRUCK WHERE THE CUSTOMERS BOYFRIEND WAS BEATING PARTS UNDER THE TRUCK TRYING TO REPAIR IT HIMSELF .WE ALSO HAD ANOTHER MECHANIC FROM THE SHOP NEXT DOOR TO WITNESS DAMAGE UNDER TRUCK THAT WAS ALREADY DONE ,THE CUSTOMERS BOYFRIEND HAD ALREADY DAMAGED THE TRUCK UNDERNEATH AND TRIED TO DO REPAIR THAT HE KNEW HE COULD NOT .HE ALSO DIDNT BRING ALL PARTS AND REFUSED TO BUY NEW BECAUSE HE HAD ALREADY BOUGHT USED FROM JUNK YARD

Complaint[redacted] as the owner of Top Gun Tire, was fraudulent in his abilities as an automotive technician. Top Gun Tire refused to make good on their workmanship. Misdiagnosed the mechanical problems with my vehicle. As a result of his alleged repair, the original problem was worsened as reflected by a certified Mercedes Dealer Mechanic in [redacted] N.C.Desired SettlementComplete refund of monies owed for repairs not done properly. Business Response In this case , Mr . [redacted] car was replaced with new parts and he was told he may have a bent driveshaft and he needed to take it to a specialty shop that does that only before he was to drive it or the same problem would occur ! He agreed however he did not take it to a specialty shop for driveshaft to be inspected and drove over 200 miles and broke the same piece and wanted us to replace it due to his negligence however we decline , he then threaten us with an attorney and told him to do as he wished we have all bad parts that were replaced and everything documented and then he changed his mind and wanted us to just give him a set of tires and we declined so now he wants to give us a bad review ! This is absolutely fine we still did the right thing and he knows he was at fought ! Thank you and have a blessed day!

Brake Line Repair that was done and I am smelling brake fluid now.I took my Cadillac SRX to [redacted] auto repair to have a brake leak fixed upon inspection they couldn't do the work so they referred me to Top Gun Tire the companies owner came and looked at the work to be done and called me with an estimate of 852.00 I agreed to the estimate and he proceeded to do the work days past and he informed me that while trying to complete the job the brake calipers were closed he attempted to purge the brake lines and broke the calipers so he the owner came back with a estimate to fix this I told him I did not have that kind of money all I had was the original estimate so he informed me that he would look at getting some used parts a few more days past he didn't reach out to me so I called him several times until I finally got someone on the phone the person on the other end did not give a name and told me the new price would be 1252.37 to do the work and if I paid for the work already done they would wave the storage fee I asked how much was the storage and the person said that he didn't know and they would call me back I never got a call back so I had to wait to get the money to fix everything when I went to pay for it I was told the price would now be 2207.52 I feel like I was taken advantage of because the owner went on to explain that he had filed paperwork with DMV and if I could not pay for the repairs his business would keep my vehicle and claim it to be an abandend vehicle. I went to my bank and had to refinance my car to get the money also when I drove off with it I looked in the rear of the car and saw a part just sitting in the back now I don't have the shield that goes under the car where it came from instead it is in my front yard. My car was not put back together correctly and my trust in his ability to repair it is zero percent I will never take it back there and as I said before I smell brake fluid so I now have to get it looked at again to make sure the work is correct.Desired SettlementFor improper work I feel I should get back the 650.00 that I had to pay in storage fees if the calipers had not been broken I would have had my car sooner also this smell of brake fluid worries me if I have to go get it looked at then top gun tire should pay for that.Business Response MR.[redacted] WAS VERY AWARE ABOUT THE STORAGE FEES ,IT IS POSTED ON OFFICE WALL WHICH HAS BEEN THERE FROM OUR FIRST DATE OF BUSINESS.WE SPOKE NUMEROUS TIMES ON THE PHONE AND HAVE PHONE BILL TO PROVE ,HIS STATEMENT IS NOT TRUE ABOUT GETTING THROUGH TO US ,HE INFORMED US THAT HE SPENT THE $900 HE HAD SET ASIDE AND COULDNT COME UP WITH THE EXTRA AFTER CALLING FAMILY MEMBERS TO BORROW THE MONEY WHICH NO ONE WOULD LOAN HIM ,SO WE SPECIFICALLY TOLD HIM WE WOULD CHARGE STORAGE UNTIL IT WAS PAID IN FULL BECAUSE HE COULDNT PAY FOR ANY OF THE WORK DONE .ALSO PAPERWORK WAS FILED ON HIS VEHICLE WITH THE DMV(RALEIGH) AS BY LAW I AM SUPPOSE TO DO .WE FOLLOWED THE LAWS FOR NON-PAYMENT OF SERVICES DONE WHICH HE WAS VERY WELL AWARE OF ALL FEES.MR.[redacted] NEVER STATED TO ME AT THE TIME OF PICKUP OF HIS VEHICLE THAT HE WAS DISSATISFIED ABOUT ANYTHING .HE SEEMED HAPPY AND LEFT AND SAID THANK YOU .Consumer Response First I was not aware of the storage fees if so I would never have left my car with Top Gun Tire. Second I made several attempts to reach them and only spoke to them a few times. Third my satisfaction was not met I just wanted to get my car away from this company to prevent further issues. I find it hard to trust companies like this that take advantage of people. I am extremely upset over the work done furthermore my car is not registered in Raleigh it is registered to Iowa if they spoke to me they would have known this...I only went to his shop on two occasions and neither time did the topic of storage come up until I went to pay for the work. I am certain they will dispute this but it is a fact. And I will make every effort to never take my vehicle or anyone else's car to this company the work was sub standard I am still leaking fluid its a slow leak but a leak non the less. Since a financial resolution isn't possible I would like you to investigate this if you need to see my Cadillac I will make it available. just not to top gun tire only to the Cadillac dealership and top gun should pay for those repairs.

Top Gun Tires broke my TPMS switch when I purchased 2 tires from them on 2/12/16.I purchased 2 tires and had them installed. I noticed my TPMS light did not go off after awhile I went back and they said "oh it will go off in a day or two. After another few days my husband went back my light is still on. He was told that maybe the battery for the TPMS was going bad. After 2 weeks I needed an inspection so I took my car to another garage, and I ask the man there to see if he knew why my light was still on. He called me back to where they were inspecting my car. He showed me my wheel of one of the tires that Top Gun installed and they had broke my TPMS sensor and tried to zip-tie it on my wheel.(I took a picture with my phone.)I then took the picture and receipt for $49.00 (it coasted to fix the switch) to Top Gun they acted as if they didn't do it. I had no problem with that TPMS light before I had the tires installed. I feel they need to reinbursh me for the $49.00. My husband has been back to them 2 more times and the owner is never there.Desired SettlementI want them to refund me the price of the switch.
