Thank you for your letter dated May 17, We have already received this complaint from the client via phone, as well as in a [redacted] review.This client was working with a wedding planner from [redacted] We never spoke with [redacted] until the week before his event, when we were trying to arrange deliveryAs cur weekend delivery is an additional fee, we were trying to work with [redacted] , so he didn't have to pay this extra amount, nor pay for an additional day at the venueFor that reason, we held off on charging the full amount until we were sure we would be able to accommodate the stringent delivery and pick up laid out by the venue.We are a rental business and we held many items for [redacted] during high volume wedding seasonWe turned customers away because these particular chairs, and other items, were held for [redacted] , who doesn't mention in his complaint that he called to cancel these particular chairs after p.mthe evening before delivery was to be madeThis is well past the cancellation laid out in our terms and conditions, which [redacted] agreed to when he made his payment, and which you can review here: http://www.tophatpartydesign.com/images/Top Hat Terms and Conditions 2016.pdf.We’ve included here for your review all of the versions of [redacted] ’s contract, the changes that were made to the items as well as deliveryWe have much more correspondence with the wedding planner, if you'd like to see that as well.While we understand you are attempting to reach a mutually beneficial resolution to this problem, we don't see that there is one [redacted] has already posted his complaint alongside a 1-star review on [redacted] , which wouldn't even be addressed with this writing, were we able to come a resolutionHe and his wife used foul language and harassed our employee regarding the refund despite being told that he would need to speak with a manager who was unavailable at that timeFrankly, he has wasted an enormous amount of our time, including having to respond to this letter.As we offered him when he called for a refund, we can provide a store credit for $300, but will not beproviding a refund.Should you have any questions, or require additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me

I rented chairs and tables for my weddingDue to inclement weather we could not use the chairs for the outside ceremonyNot only did I not receive a refund for the chairs that were never deliveredI waited hours for them to deliver the tablesThis business was very unprofessional from the customer service representative who answered the phone(Wendy) to the manager whom name we never received.I can not understand how a business can charge you for something that you never used

I am rejecting this response because: due to the fact that I paid $for a service I never received (100chairs).Please see the attached bank statement charged to my bank account on 4/30/and I canceled on 5/6/due to inclement weather all week before my wedding day and I no longer could use the chairs for the outside ceremony because the ground was to wet and muddy. And I did not want to be responsible for any damage that may have been done to their property. In regards to TopHat turning away business from 4/to 5/6/can they provide documentation of this? I also have provided the invoice showing the items I did pay for and I am deeply confused as to how a professional place of business would respond so rudely to a complaint from a customer who they never attempted to accommodate or tried to resolve their valid concerns untll they received notice from the Revdex.comInstead they chose to try and slander my wife and my name by saying we were rude and used foul language which was untrue If you refer back to my initial complaint to "Revdex.com" I mention how I was never given the managers nameThis was due to the fact their Associate by the name of Wendy kept hanging up the phone evertyime I asked to speak to the managerI also stated as well in my initial complaint to "Revdex.com "after scheduling a delivery time for 3:p.m I waited 3hours and minuteswith my father for them to deliever the items we did pay for and there location was only minutes away from our wedding venueThis behavior is very unproffessional and uncivilized for a place of businessPlease try to put yourself in my shoes .On one of the most important days of my life I paid for a service that I never received and when I contacted the vendor to inquire a refund they showed lack of compassion and concern by being very ill-mannered when I was only trying to come to a compromising resolution.
