Review: I own a 1998 [redacted]. I have taken this car to top line on three occasions with the same issue: low coolant sensor light" coming on.I have paid then close to $3500.00 to correct this issue. As recently as two week ago I brought the car back for the same issue.George called me at work and explained the issue with the car again- he claimed the the 5 way hose needs changing costing $735.00 I told him to fix , he called back two days later saying the car was ready and it was $985.00 I got up set, he went on to say he found other issues that he had to fix, I outlined the cost I got before, he told me he would call me back, he didn't, I called back to hear my bill was not $835 plus again he had to change parts that he didn't see at first.I was over charged base on the quote I got when I gave the go ahead to fix my car

I collected my car again paid, parked the car never drive it until The Sunday I drove the car to a fun day to my wife staff fun day about 30 mile round trip in Leesbuge- the same light came on so I filled the car up, it kept coming on.I barley made it home.I called Top line and also wrote to Debbie H[redacted] about the car.George told me he would have the car picked up after I told him I have no money to tow the car there I juts paid $835 a few days ago.

The car was picked up by Advance towing( there were no signs of leaking) my wife was present.

George called me to say he wanted me to come to the shop to show me damage to the car, I had time off and went he showed me a damaged radiator with leaking liquids.I explained to him no one drove my car, I have another car, my wife has her car and my some is out of the country , my daughter is 16 years old.He wanted to know why I wont fix the car.He claimed the engine had no cover under the bottom, there was a engine cover on my car.

Top line damaged my car as not to re-fix my car.I tow the car back to my house with liquid draining all the way back to my house on the truck. The car got home I filled it up with water and I have seen no leaking liquids and the light is still on.

Top line needs to compensate me for the job they failed to completed - he ended up giving me a free oil change coupon ? Is this in compensation - which I still have as evidence.

I need some help and advised. I.I wrote top Deddie H[redacted] by registered mail she never responded, I had to pay them for the towing when they had the car picked up - George said I will have to call Debbie and I had to pay back the $80 on to of all the other money they collected falsely plus towing it back home again as I didn't trust them any more.

I need advice as my options here will be a legal one as they have shown no interest in correcting this issue. My car is not yet fix as I await an independent inspection which will involve all the parts and repairs they have charged me for over the past year.I would like a complete print out from top line for all repairs and service I have paid for including teh towing bill copy from the Advance company I paid for which was invoiced on Top line invoice head. I paid $800.00 cash on the $835 bill. They can remove teh parts from the car and refund my money or charge me for the part minus the poor work they have performed for almost an $100.00 per hour.Desired Settlement: They need to refund me the over charge on the first quote and refund for the issue they have not fixed ech time they have charged me especially the last time my car went there, the towing they thad me paid for when they picked the car up .They damaged my car.

Dear [redacted],

To begin, I would like to say that you are a valued customer at Top Line Jaguar and we understand that there can be misunderstandings. We hope to clear them up and please know that you are always welcomed at Top Line Jaguar.

On September 26, 2013, [redacted] dropped off his 1998 Jaguar [redacted] for a cooling complaint. We diagnosed the problem, pressure tested the system and checked the car. [redacted] was given a repair estimate for the thermostat housing, thermostat, cover, crossover pipe, water outlet o-ring, and coolant hose under the intake manifold. The repair was authorized by [redacted]. We completed the repair, checked the car out, and [redacted] picked it up.

On May 6, 2014, [redacted] brought his car in with a complaint about the ABS light. We diagnosed the car and gave him an estimate on the ABS module and wheel speed sensor and he authorized the repair. We also advised him that his car needed additional work; right front lower ball joint had play and tie rod ends. These were safety items. [redacted] declined the additional work and picked up his car after we completed the ABS module and wheel speed sensor repair.

On July 28, 2014, [redacted] contacted us about a complaint on the coolant light. He dropped off his car and we pressure tested the coolant system. We found that the three-way heater hose and connector on the back of the engine and on top of the transmission were leaking. We provided [redacted] with an estimate and he authorized the repair. We completed the repairs and pressure tested the system for one hour. We checked the car and there were no leaks. [redacted] picked up his car.

On August 14, 2014, [redacted] called complaining that his car was leaking coolant. We had the car towed in, checked out the car and pressure tested the system. We found the radiator to be leaking. The car had been hit on the lower left front bottom under the radiator and the under spoiler was broken. Which we asked [redacted] to come to the shop so we could show him the damage and what was causing the leak. [redacted] came to the shop and checked the damage. He stated that he did not drive the car since we had previously repaired it. (In his statement to Revdex.com, he stated that he had driven the car to his wife’s staff fun day.) Top Line Jaguar had no reason to test drive the car for a coolant problem; especially when [redacted]’s license plates were expired and safety work was still not done. [redacted] stated he was not going to fix the car and called the towing company to pick it up.

We did confirm with [redacted] that all repairs completed by Top Line Jaguar have a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty, whichever comes first.

Again, [redacted] is a valued customer here at Top Line Jaguar and is always welcomed here.

Top line will need to get my car properly repaired.I calle d that company on 09-01-2014 and informed them that I would have being out of teh country and would get the car there. I informed them at the time that ABS light is on, the traction light is on, teh low colant sensor light on.

Lidsted below is a list of the the payment service supposely rendendere by Top LIne Jaguar of [redacted].

1. 8/20 2014 - paid Top Line back $80.00 ( for towing they had done to my prior compalint but claimed I damaged radiator-si I had to pay that cost - I called and asked Georger to send me a copy of the towing bill I never got it.

2. 08/04/2014- spider hose -$221.30, 3 way connector/ hose $12.28,coolant reservoir cap $24.51,coolant $62.00, work requested $450.00. Total parts $320.09 and labor $650.00 tOTAL $839.30. milage in 89,151 milage out 89,163 - 12 milage differences.paid $839.30 for a repair I initally todl was $735. plus( intially I was told final cost was $900 plus which I argued about with George,This bill came down to $839.30.Thus Top Line gave me a free oil change coupon which of course doesnt sunstanciate teh difference in balooning the after cost without my approval.

3. 05-16-2014 abs module $440.00 plus labor $570.00, Abs ensor $260.00 plus labor $140.00, Diagose concerns $14.000total Bill parts $700.00, labor $410.00Final bill $1142.00.

4. 11-27-2013 paid $1467.30 not sure how much o fthese repairs directly impacts teh issues I still have.

5. I ma missing an invoice for reapirs for another #1535.08 which ia ma stil sarching for.

Now it si very clear iam not begging Top Line Jaguar for nothing. To have gotten the total amount listed above and cant drive teh car ? The car was parked the same place since that Sunday evening 09-10-2014 after paying $839.30 on the 09/04/2014 after driving to Leeburge that morning.

The car was picked up towed authorized by TopLine the next week.I refused to pay them more money.I towed teh car back home on teh 08-20-2014 paying $140.00 it has being parked in the same location with reading of 89,381 miles.

At no time did they indicate that the car wasnt test drive- I had " road test approval " from the dmv (05-16 to 09-19-2014) George told me to drive it myself for 100 mile to get the engine turned to get the inspection which I had failed .This was back in June 2014 - $1142.00 billing.

1. tyres

2. hole in resanators ( which I had issues finding)

Irregardlessof what they say I said below teh car is

3. rotors/ brakes

I need Top line to repair my car. When it waspicked up by Advance Towing there were no fluids at no time coming from that engine, teh sensor lights kept coming on whic cause me to have towed it there three times and paid for 4 tows ( Top Line Tow as well)When I picked my car up - went and they show me a ' fesh damage clean metal to teh raditor.I towed teh car back here leaking fluids on teh truck whic was never an issue since I had tehcar - never saw leaking on the ground.

The car is avaiable for pick up by Top Line Top Line to repair after discussing with me the way forward. If they refuse and dont want to re-repair what they did not meet expecataions and standard with tehy willneed to pro-rate past bill - compensate me back which can inclue remove warranty parts replace my parts removed and I move in getting my car repaired some where else.

I am very disappointed having invested so much into m car hoping that excellent service would have being teh returns on money spent wit this company. They have my contact information on file.Regards,[redacted]
