received word of the issue in December of 2014. The customer is upset that seams he never wanted in his top failed. Due to the size and design of his tops/kitchen and the ability to safely install the pieces in Mr. [redacted]’s residence, there was no option but to put (1) seam in each top. Top Master offers a 1 year craftsmanship warranty on all work performed. Since the work was performed over 2 years ago we informed Mr. [redacted] that he would be responsible for the charges related to fixing the top ($100 per hour). He was very upset by this since he thought his tops should not have had a seam to begin with. Again, with the design and size of his tops there was no other option for us to fabricate the tops if we did not put a seam in each piece. We will schedule a manager to review the job site conditions at Mr. [redacted]’s residence. If there are no job site conditions that would have caused the seams to separate, we will repair at no charge to the customer. If there are any job site issues or signs of misuse, Mr. [redacted] will be responsible for all charges related to repairing the seams.
