Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. Please respond here ONLY]. First, the employee/employer story may be true but that is immaterial for the poor business practice of this company. My wife and I have no control over this company employees and no interest of knowing about their payment. Secondly, after telling [redacted] that he was no longer employed by your company and to hit the road all company material such as contracts and other materials should have been confiscated from him.
Thirdly, I can see why it would be hard for the company to stop [redacted] from misrepresenting them when he returned to Owensboro two weeks after being fired, but after he turned in the estimate for the roof and siding repairs no one from the company contacted me or my wife to inform us that this man was no longer an employee of the company. The fourth problem we have with the company's reply is if [redacted] was no longer an employee of the company why did [redacted] {the Company Lead Sales Representative} and [redacted] [the company Sales Manager] come to our house on 8/8/2016 to go over the contract with a verbal commitment of ordering the materials and the possibility of a start date. In fact, [redacted] called me the next day asking for all the information that [redacted] sent outlining all the needed repairs and the payments for the repairs. I told him that [redacted] had all the paperwork and [redacted] said he would get it from him. Again, no one said anything about [redacted] not being employed and not able to represent the company. The fifth problem we have with this company is if [redacted] was no longer employed by the company why would the company tell him to come to our house to cancel the contract when [redacted] has no authority since he doesn't work for the company. Why, didn't [redacted], or [redacted] contact us to let us know that [redacted] was no longer employed and had no authority to represent the company nor write up contracts. The sixth problem I have with this company is when I called [redacted], who I was told is the owner, He scheduled a meeting with us on Monday 8/22/2016 between the hours of 4-5 and never showed and never called to reschedule. A very poor way to run a company and respond to this tragic situation. If he had came by and just talked with us, I sure all this could have been avoided. He could have and should have apologized when he came that Monday or any  of the other days of this that I have called him and left messages on the phone. Since, he said the company doesn't have a signed contract to do this job we feel it's only fair to look to another company to do this work; however the complaint is still necessary to ensue that no other homeowner will fall prey to the deceptive practices of any other sale representative or mistakes by this company. Thank you kindly, [redacted]

As long as I've been in this Roofing Business.. I've always done Professional Jobs on the Homes with ZERO Complaints.. Got great Review's and 5 Star Ratings.. I serve all of Kentuckana.. With All happy Customer's.. I have Recently Got a few extra Independent Sales Representatives with years of...

experience.. Unfortunately I had one bad Sales Representative that tried taking advantage of my kindness.. I pay my new Sales Representatives Draws on Their Future Commissions for Signed Contracts.. Usally $100- $200 upfront... (Thats to help them get by until they start getting full Commission Checks) and then the Advancement of Money stops.. That is how Just about every Roofing Business does it.. My Sales Representative " [redacted]" had only produced approximately 6 unsigned Estimates over a period of 4 weeks.. With no Signed Contracts or Appointments with Insurance Claims Adjusters.. He had claimed that he was out every single day making Appointments and getting signed Contracts.. and I took his word for it and wrote him Commission Draws with out seeing a single signed Contract at all.. He would act like he had several other Customer's that were going To have him come out and sign contracts.. My Sales Manager had found [redacted] parked near by our Office hidden, and not doing a thing to earn any Commission Draws.. After we determined that he was using us for a free ride.. We stopped the Commission Draws and told him that things were not working out.. And that he needed to go down the Road.. He left Town.. About a two weeks later [redacted] had returned back in Town with out saying a thing and Showed at a Customers house when he no longer was suppose to Represent our Company.. He wrote what should have been around a $7,000 Dollar Roof Estimate that would have covered Materials for the Roof Only and the Roof Crew's Cost with maybe a $1, 200 Profit before State and Federal Tax's.. And before Local Tax's as well.. Plus other Expenses.. But for the Roof Estimate that was already written way too cheap... [redacted] was in desperation to make a Roof Sale.. And to ensure a Contract with the Homeowner he gave away Approximately $2,000 - $2,500 in free Repair work on Gutter's, Siding and Metal trim work.... And after he showed up to show me what he did.. He thought that he would get his Sales Job back and a 10% Sales Commission ( Which would have been $650 of $6,500..) The job would have made ZERO Profit and cost at least $2,500 - plus a $650 Commission.. The Job would have been negative $3,000 +.. Not a Good thing!! Not to Mention [redacted] must have lied about a start Date because We don't even Schedule any Roof Jobs or Order Materials until a job is turned in and gets a Job number.. And the Job Estimates are Approved by a Sales Manager.( witch never Happened) because we never Gave [redacted] permission to Represent our Company after we let him go prior to getting a Signed Contract with the Homeowner that made this Complaint.. And we immediately told [redacted] to take the Contract back to the Homeowner and Cancel the Contract because he did not work for us at the Time of signing the Contract.. [redacted] disappeared that day when he relized that he wasn't welcomed back to town and wasn't getting a Penny from us.. I did not have his only copy of the Contract.. Other than that only mistake in our Company.. We have had no other Customer's that Complained about our Quality Work.. Ever!! [redacted] is now working for some other Roofing Business somewhere else probably and getting paid for nothing!! I APOLOGIZE TO THE Homeowner... Sorry [redacted] had mislead you in blieving that he was with our Company, after he was let go.. [redacted] must have had a couple Blank Contracts that he didn't turn in before leaving town when we let him go.
