I was truly speechless when I received the complaint notification from the Commission in regards to my
former client *** E*** JrI have been selling Real Estate since and have never received such an allegation which would question my honesty, Integrity or moralityFinding Mr*** a home was not an easy journey but nevertheless I worked with him diligently and effectively until he found the house of his dreamsThere were hundreds of emails exchanged between us from the beginning to the end of the journey which makes this statement extremely offensive "He did not seem to be much assistance throughout the purchase process" (he being me *** ***)
As far as the home inspection goes I informed Mr*** that it would be better for him to attend the home inspection in my absence since I work a full time job as well as selling real estate just in case he had any questions or concerns for the inspector that he wanted addressed prior to his move in all of which were addressed in *** *** Inspection Report which is attached for your review
I was not aware at any time of any latent defects that were not addressed at the time of the final inspectionAll I have to go on is the word of a qualified building inspector performing his duty, a municipal inspection which passed, and a home warranty which was provided by the seller for my buyer
I was not aware of any other issues with the home prior to May when Mr*** called meI asked him had he reached out to Regional with the issues he was having with his home and he said yes and was just waiting on the guy to come out and make the necessary repairsNot once have I refused assistance even after the sale of this home but I had a hard time trying to convince Mr*** that I was not responsible for a mistake made by the inspectorI also, informed him that I would call the inspection company to see what the problem was and when they would be able to correct itThis was before Mr*** made a threat to me and said "If he didn't hear from me by Friday he would report me to the Real Estate Board"Once I received this threat my communication ceased with Mr*** for obvious reasons
