Review: The car was serviced by Top Notch Riverdale on a regular basis. On October **, 2012 the radiator was flushed and anti freeze was added. On June **th 2013, the car was over heating and was towed to a garage-repair in White Plains where I just moved. They could not deal with the problem. So the car had to be towed to Chrysler in White Plains. All these operations cost me hundreds of $. On July **th 2013, Chrysler's invoice stipulates: "...HEAVY SLUDGE IN COOLANT...COOLANT SYSTEM CONTAMINATED, recommend coolant flush...performed 2 coolant flushes, found bubbling in coolant bottle, possible head gasket leak into cooling system, no external leaks found, DECLINE FURTHER DIAG/REPAIR AT THIS TIME". The cost of repairs, without any warranty in the ignorance of other damages, were first estimated at $ 5,000.00. I had no other choice than to trade my Chrysler in, at a heavy loss, and a MILEAGE of only 67,639. Nothing, especially for a hemi engine. For what I understood, Chrysler is not taking the chance of repairing and the car will be sold at an auction.Desired Settlement: My 3 last invoices with Top Notch Riverdale have a total of more than $ 4,000.00. The costs for renting a car, trying to identify the damages and the loss on the car for trading it amount to at least $ 6,000.00. That is already $ 10,000.00. My Chrysler was fully paid for. Now I have to pay monthly installments, $ 5,496.00 per annum. And I am at $ 15,000.00.

Response:
Dear Sirs:
I represent the interests of Top Notch Riverdale Inc. and [redacted] in connection with this matter.
This letter is written in response to the above referenced complaint.
According to Mr. [redacted], his 2005 Cluysler 300 was last serviced by my client on or about October **, 2012 when,
Mr. [redacted] alleges, his radiator was flushed and anti-freeze added.
My client admits that the Complainant's car was serviced from time to time. However, my client would like to
see the invoices for the services rendered because, my client does not have the records of the services provided. He recalls servicing the
brakes on the Complainant's car; he does not specifically remember flushing the radiator. Only anti-freeze may have been added. Moreover,
if the problem was discovered on [redacted] and the car was alllegedly serviced on October **, 2012, then the car was driven for eight
(8) months before any problem was detected. Please have Mr. [redacted] provide the invoices and forward copies to me.
Many things could have caused the alleged problem including overheating, a broken thermostat and/or a broken head gasket.
Who else serviced the vehicle in that time period?
Given the elapsed time, it is clearly a stretch to link any service done on October **, 2012 to the coolant system problem
discovered in June, 2013. This was an 8 year old car. It may have been overheating and been damaged either before or after
Mr. [redacted] brought it in for service.

Far more information is needed in order to reach any conclusion including, the history of services to the car and, the driving habits of Mr. [redacted].
We hope that this is helpful to you and look forward to your response.

Dear Ms. [redacted]:
Responding to your letter dated 9/**/13, given the time that elapsed from the time of the services of Top Notch Riverdale, Inc. to the time
of the complaint, it is unreasonable to place the blame on Top Notch's services.
If the Complainant had a problem he should have gone back to Top Notch Riverdale, Inc.; rather, he took it upon himself to sell the car at
auction. Top Notch could not confirm the problem because the car was sold. Top Notch cannot be held responsible under the circumstances.
Very truly yours,
