Top Scottsdale Vacation Rentals

Stay away from renting from this company! The property overall was fine, but the company (Hit Rentals, Top Scottsdale Vacation Rentals) is terrible and I will never rent from them again. The bed fr[redacted] in our master bedroom was broken and we were unable to sleep in the bed for 2 nights. We were not give a phone call even to give us a heads up that it was broken. I tried every phone number and was not able to reach anyone including the emergency phone number. The contracted maintenance man gave me a call back (unlike the company) and informed me that the owner Ryan D[redacted] was aware. If he was aware, why not get it taken care of or even reach out to your guest? It would not have been as bad if I was even simply notified and given an idea of what to do or how it would be fixed. I tried calling unsuccessfully for 2 straight days and didn't get a call until Monday. I guess if you do check in, make sure it is during the week because you are on your own if it is on the weekend. What if a pipe burst? What if we couldn't get into our condo? (which actually happened because the door jammed and we had to climb out the window one day). They gave me a small amount back, but it did not make up for the experience we had.

We booked a condo through this company for two weeks - March 15th through March 29th.

When we arrived the sofa was terribly shredded and had holes - not as pictured in the advertisement online! In addition the windows were filthy, there were carpet stains, and the microwave oven did not work. It was obvious that the unit hadn't been inspected prior to our rental.

We called [redacted] at the rental company who apologized and said a new sofa was on back order. She said that she would have the owner, [redacted], call us which he never did. We called [redacted] again and she said that they would make it right and, again, would have [redacted] call us which he never did. Subsequently, we called [redacted] three times with no return call.

I am appalled by his lack of professional attitude and concern for the client. The very least he could have done is to call back with an apology and some offer to compensate us for the condition of the sofa as we had to cover it with a sheet for two weeks. They did replace the microwave and cleaned the windows and carpets but for two weeks there was no attempt to rectify the sofa situation.

I would strongly advise no one rent from this company. They lack good business sense and vastly need to improve there customer service skills.

I am, also, posting this on Trip Adviser to warn potential renters of this unethical and unprofessional company.

We loved the home we rented with Top Scottsdale Vacation Rentals in January, it was perfect for our family getaway. The staff was great to us from start to finish and made us feel right at home. They were quick to answer any questions and handle any issues we had. These guys are top shelf. We have rented 3-4 homes over the years and this company was one of the best we have worked with yet.

On a rating from 1-10 they are in the negative! They do not specify in their lease about having motorcycles! They are not on the customers side and do not handle things in a timely manner! We have been treated very poorly and was not given any notice to be out of the house! They had no intention of working with us or wanting to help at all! Do not rent with them horrible customer service!!!!!

I found many listings for vacation rentals on [redacted] and [redacted] web sites. I was interested in several of the listings by Top Scottsdale Vacation Rentals. I called the office number listed, entered the ext. for reservations and questions, was connected to [redacted], I believe the owner of the company, he told me he was travelling and please call his assistant, gave me the number, and I called 3 or 4 times and always reached a voice mail, and no one ever returned my calls. I then called [redacted] again, and it went to voice mail, left a message and he has never called back. I also sent two emails through the VRBO Rental web site, and neither have been answered. If this company wants to rent properties they should at least return calls or emails from interested parties. I'm wondering if they are still in business or what.

We just got back from our Vacation in Scottsdale AZ. We rented a condo from Top Scottsdale Vacation Rentals and had a great experience. The condo was clean, great location, and perfect for our group. I highly recommend them to anyone considering a vacation home rental in Arizona. This was our 1st time doing this, but it will not be our last.
