Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/12/20) */
The customer in question dropped by December to have a tire checkedWe dismounted the tire to see if it could be repairedUpon inspecting the tire, the technician informed the customer it wasn't repairableDue to the fact that the tire
manufacturer doesn't offer any type of road hazard on their tires we offer it at our location as an added service to our customerThis would have been explained to the customer at the time of purchaseAs the tire manufacturer of the tires offers warranty against defect we do not cover tires after the manufacturers warranty has expiredAll Tirecraft locations are independently owned, this is why warranty coverages are not posted on the websiteDue to the fact that the customer became irate in our waiting area we were not given the opportunity to resolve the issueWe did not charge him for the time to inspect the tireHis warranty had expired over a yearTirecraft can not replace tires at no cost to the customer a year after his warrant had expired
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2016/12/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Yes I accept this responseI knew Tirecraft was not going to replace my tireMy main objective in filing my complaint with Tirecraft was to make other customers aware that conditions of the road hazard warranty is solely up to business owner if upheld or notIf each business is independently owned and operated there still should be a standard set for the road hazard warranty for Tirecraft and limitations noted on website as well as each customers receiptIf it was noted on my receipt that the road hazard warranty expired I would not have visited the storeIf I was made aware that the road hazard warranty had a expiry date when I purchased the tires I would have declined the warranty

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/05/15) */
We received a call from the customer on May 5th regarding an issue he has with Tirecraft, he informed us that he thinks he may have received a worn tire for work that was completed on December 13,2014. As it is five months later I did have some...

questions for the customer. I asked him to give me the size and brand name of the tire that he received back in his vehicle which he claims was worn. He wasn't sure of the brand or size. Once he checked the tire he quickly called me back with the size and brand, which was a [redacted]. This is the size of the tire which his [redacted] requires. He also told me the brand was [redacted] which is an original equipment tire on a [redacted]. The customer claims that a replacement tire is $150.00. In good faith Tirecraft will sell the customer a tire to match his other two tires that he purchased on April 30, 2013 for $132.00 plus the Government tire tax of $3.00 plus $13.75 for the install. Tirecraft understands that people's budgets vary. Tirecraft also has other tires available in the equivalent size starting at $85.00. In good faith, Tirecraft also doesn't have any issues with finding the customer a used tire equal too or better then the tires that he currently has.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/05/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept because he claims that the tire I claim to have been given by mistake is not the tires that came on my [redacted] I still have one of the tires that came on the car.[redacted]
