Review: PURCHASED A PAIR OF SHOES ON SATURDAY 9/**/2013 -I RETURNED TO STORE MONDAY 9/**/2013 TO EXCHANGE THE SHOES FOR A PAIR OF SNEAKERS -I WAS TOLD BY A GENTLEMEN BY THE NAME OF [redacted] SINCE I HAD NO RECEIPT THAT ALL HE COULD GIVE ME WAS 50% OF THE PRICE I PAID -I STATED I DID NOT WANT A REFUND AND WAS WILLING TO PAY WHATEVER THE DIFFERENCE WAS FOR THE SNEAKERS .[redacted] STATED SORRY YOU HAVE NO RECEIPT ALL I CAN GIVE YOU IS 50% OF THE PRICE YOU PAID FOR THE SHOES .THERE IS NO SIGN POSTED IN THE STORE STATING THAT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A RECEIPT ALL YOU ARE ENTITLE TO IS 50% OF THE PURCHASE PRICE . THE SIGN THAT THEY HAVE POSTED STATES ONLY THAT YOU NEEDED A RECEIPT FOR A REFUND AND SHOES MUST BE RETURNED WITHIN 10 DAYS --SIGH IS A MADE UP SIGN /NOT A LEGAL BUSINESS SIGN WITH BUSINESS LICENCE NUMBER ----I TOOK MY SHOES AND LEFT THE STORE . THE TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE I PAID FOR THE SHOES WAS $18.00Desired Settlement: FULL REFUND OF $18.00

The customer does not have receipt.

The shoes that customer purchased is on promotion for buy one get second one 50 % off.

Without the receipts, we do not know if customer got the promotion or not. That is why, the shoes "Coney" which the customer brought back for exchange can not be regular price.

Customer would like to exchange to the sneakers which is not on the buy 1 get 2nd 50% off promotion.

We will do the different if the customer exchanged to a different styles which under the same promotion.

The store policies stated that there is no refund, only exchange with the receipt required.

The store did not state at any time that I could change the shoes at the promotional price or state that the sneakers which I was willing to pay the additional payment in the difference in price was not a promotional item all I was told was that I was told was that they were going to give me half of the price of my original purchase price , also there is no sign stating if you do not have a receipt you will only get back half of your purchase price .
