aware of this problem for 2 years or so - Common problem with [redacted]
[redacted] shows a recall notice in the US, warranty extended to Canada.
We performed repairs to rear differential and performed a transmission flush, we replaced the spark plugs and the PCV valve.
None of these repairs needed access to the gas tank (where the internal fuel gauge is located)
We did not create this problem it is because of the faulty fuel gauge which has failed.
We don't see any reason why we would take responsibility for this failure.
The customer was told at time Vehicle was picked up to contact the Nissan dealership and see if any possibility of warranty, due to the nature of the faulty fuel gauge problem.
The Customer explained that because of the mileage he didn't want to try.
We suggested to him to try anyway it is a known problem.
