patched the pipe themselves and we are waiting to see if they will require further assistance. They are welcome to call our office to arrange to have a different technician come out free of charge.

We sent our techician [redacted] to try to cable open Ms. [redacted]'s sewer line on 6/3/16.   [redacted] was there for 4.32 hours, cabling the sewer line from different access points, including from the roof.  [redacted] removed a baseball bat, a beer can, and lots of other debris from the line (photo...

attached).  He marked on the field on our invoice "foreign object" and wrote "bat" next to it. This voids our 30 day warranty - which is noted at the bottom of our invoice (copy attached). When [redacted] attempted to collect the payment for services performed, Ms. [redacted] said MSD was paying for this work.  [redacted] from Tope Inc. contacted MSD and confirmed that MSD was not paying for this work.  [redacted] informed Ms. [redacted] of that and was told she had no money to pay.  [redacted] instructed [redacted] to inform Ms. [redacted] that is the work was not paid for, we would put a lien on the property. Ms. [redacted] then said she had the money and paid [redacted] $190 cash.  (Our fee for cabling for 1 hour from the roof is $210 - she was given a very large discount) When Ms. [redacted] called our office to say her husband had re-routed their washer line and they were backing up again, [redacted] informed Ms. [redacted] that there would be a fee for the return service call as we had found foreign objects in the line the last time, thus voiding the warranty.  Ms. [redacted] stated that she understood there would be a fee. [redacted], another Tope Inc technician, was dispatched to Ms. [redacted]'s address to open the line again.  When he arrived, he informed Ms. [redacted] that she would have to pay for the service or he would not be doing the work. Ms. [redacted] argued that the we had lied to her.  We performed the work on 6/3/16. Ms. [redacted] received a service and we do not believe we should refund the payment of $190.00.
