Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The company failed to report over 10k in income and signed off on the return I paid to have my taxes done in an accurate manner and that was not the case It was my responsibility to supply the documents so that the income can get factored into the tax returnThe tax preparer was negligent in providing me with an accurate return as they failed to report income, which in turn led to issues with the IRS Although the tax preparer cannot control what the US Postal Service and IRS do with mail, if the initial error did not occur and I would have owed money, then I could have made the payment back in However, due to this error on Topell and Silver's part, I now paid in full the money owed for failure to report 10k and the interest that accrued on bills that were not forwarded to my correct mailing address It is really unprofessional of a company to treat a customer in such a manner, where they openly admit to making a mistake and insult the customer by suggesting they have to pay for their company's own mistake and negligence This situation is to be resolved in a manner in which I the customer are treated fairly Regards, [redacted]

The taxpayer states that they did not receive any billings from the Internal Revenue Service and interest accrued , we have no input on how the taxpayer receives or doesn't receive mailIn addition, the taxpayers has requested that he be reimbursed for the entire assessment including the actual
income taxHis expectations of our firm paying his income tax is a little unrealisticWe do not pay our clients income taxes
