FYI, as well as contacting the Revdex.com, I also made a complaint via a UK publisher "The Economist" as I was getting regular spam emails advertising this (legitimate) company from app.topicaThey handled my complaint efficiently and professionally and (to my amazement) email from "app.topica" have stopped completely (for the last days) since they chased up the relevant companies
I am happy to be on a Global Nevermail, and it sounds like they have taken the complaint seriously
So not clear which "solution" has resulted in a fix to the problem, but the end result is a relief to me
