Review: My wife and I are both disabled, I am a disabled Veteran and we needed to tear off some Rolled Roofing which was past its due date. I went through the proper check lists and paid extremely more because Tops Roofing were the only Contractor who could provide the proper paperwork for his employees even though it was almost $7,000 more than the lowest bid and $5000 more than the next highest. I did my homework but the roof was replaced in November 2010 and has leaked every year since and they have come and did some touch ups every year to fix it, and I allowed him to bring in as many engineers or whoever to help him without any correction to the leaks or the shingles that fall off every year. What he did do was attempt to use these specialist and engineers to write a report about the roof and how it is not his fault basically? This is a continuing problem and they have never took fixing the roof seriously but instead to cover his butt! I paid almost $17,000 for a complete roof job but we still have water entering in different places and still shingles are falling off. I told him at the beginning that two of the many companies I had contacted wouldn't even touch a Mansford Roof, Tops laughed and assured me that it wouldn't be a problem. I worry now that molds and fungus may be growing and harming our health now? So please help us with this case.
