Review: On November 5, 2013, I ordered 3 cords of firewood to be delivered. Later that day, a load was delivered unstacked in my driveway. I paid the agreed upon price of $520. Upon stacking the wood a few days later, I discovered that the delivery actually contained 1 1/2 cords. I contacted Tony Torcasio, the owner, who promised to come look at the wood and make it right if it was short. He never followed up, despite my almost daily phone calls, which he stopped answering. Yesterday, December 12, I notified him that I would take the complaint to the Revdex.com and post reviews on the explaining exactly what had happened.When I first spoke to him, he asked if the delivery was made in a red dump truck. I said it was. He told me that was the "one cord truck" and there may have been a mistake.I have been stacking and burning wood for a long time and I know how much wood was delivered. Since I have now begun burning it, I have photographed the stacked wood.Desired Settlement: I would like either the balance of the wood delivered or a refund in the amount of $260.

Torcasio tree service has nothing to do with his order, so lets keep that separate. Related family members, but different entities. His order was delivered by Torcasio firewood company which is owned seperatly by a family member. #1, the wood was dumped and not stacked as he claims. #2, The gentleman delivering the wood has delivered wood for us for years and has never had a complaint. He without a doubt knows how to load wood. We asked if the wood came in a small red dump he said yes, he also said the wood he has measured 1 1/2 cords, the lil red dump can only carry one cord. so obviously it couldn't be that truck! therefore as originally known it came on the big 3 cord dump truck which is also red in color. This truck ishand loaded and filled from front to back. When delivered the customer is asked to review the load and is allowed to measure it if they wish. Ultimetly they approve the load before we dump it. Aswell the customer seems to forget that they signed a form stating that they " have inspected the load and approve of its size, content, quantity and quality" also he knows that on the form it states " all sales are final, no refunds or exchanges". This was a large truck loaded to the top! Obviously the complaintant has burnt wood before and should know what 3 cord looks like? So would he sign and accept supposedly 1 1/2 cords???he should know the difference in size? Yes we went

back to review what the customer had outdoors, not indoors. Therefore we could never had an opportunity to review what was indoors. In the past we've had customers try to scam us by having wood hidden away indoors and said they were short when in fact they weren't. Bottom line this was a large 3 cord truck loaded to the top, he reviewed it, inspected it, could of measured it, chose not to, signed the form and two days later decides it was not a big enough amount??

By us never had a complaint, my drivers reputation and him having no gain by shorting the customer, him saying we delivered 1 1/2 cords on a small red dump, which is impossible on a truck that can only carry 1 cord? where the other 1/2 cord come from? the size of the truck and the customers own actions by approving the load(which he could of refused) we feel the customer is wrong in his complaint, we aren't out to scam someone by shorting one person as no one else has complained before, we are not targeting him?? Bottom line we are offered him an opportunity to refuse the load and as the receipt he signed say " no refund or exchanges" .
