Review: I came into Torino Jewelry to replace the battery in my Michael Kors watch, nothing more. There were two gentlemen and a woman working in the store. One of the two men, the short [redacted] man said he would replace the battery no problem. We both look at the watch and I explained that the battery was dead. He took the watch and left out of my presence. I waited for a good 20 minutes and when he returned he told me that my watch was broken. When I took the watch from him the second hand was spinning and the dial hands were loose. I asked him what did he do to my watch? He said it was like that. This is a complete lie as we both look at the watch, as a matter of fact the other gentlemen looked at it too. At the time I bought my watch into this shop the ONLY thing the watch needed was a new battery. When I left I had a broken watch which was clearly damaged by the so-called repair guy who did not know what he was doing and instead of replacing the battery he broke my watch.Desired Settlement: I returned to the store several times after this incident which happened in early August. I wrote an email to the owner, left numerous messages and visited the store at lease 8 times with no resolve and never a return call or response from the owner. My Michael Kors watch cost me $250.00 and I am demanding that this shop compensate me for the cost of my watch that was broken by their employee.
