I recently bought a *** *** from Toro auto and things were going alright until my car decides to turn off in the middle of the highway and never start back up againTook it to a shop and they said the engine is gone and I would need a whole new oneDidn't have the car a year and this is what happenedWarranty didn't cover it because there isn't a long enough option to even have oneShop also told me that the engine was in terrible shape oil wasn't kept up with and that they should have known this was going to be the resultToro auto hid these problems to me when buying the car and had to have known the engine was going to go eventuallyFishy place would not recommend buying from themIf you want a car that won't last you a year but one from them

Review: Down payment made is $1,8000 for dealer to locate a care for me to purchase. Because I am without a vehicle, at times it was impossible for me to get to the dealership to look at a car.

Now, the dealer is saying that I need a co-signer in order for me to get the loan to purchase a car.

I would just like to have my down payment returned in order that I can look elsewhere.Desired Settlement: Return of my $1,800.00 I am 81 years of age and feel that I am being taken advantage of.

Review: I had put $500 dollars down on a 2000 [redacted] Wrangler to keep it on hold until I could come up with a cashier's check.

The day I was to purchase the vehicle this deposit went towards the down payment I discovered there was a lot of rust on the vehicle and I hadn't seen before and wanted my mechanic to check it out. Toro Auto wouldn't allow me to take it to my mechanic even though I had my own dealer plate. I didn't want the vehicle at this point but wanted my down payment. They wouldn't refund my $500.

Review: Dealer explained that warranty was going to cover work being done to vehicle and it is not cover and the car had the problem from day of purchase.Desired Settlement: I want the vehicle fixed, and they need to pay to have it fixed if not they need to take the vehicle back and return all money I paid on it
