Torrance Car Wash

I stopped to have my brand new car washed in this location, just like I had done with my other cars for over a year There I am in the middle of the wash, with the soap and brushes on my windshield, when all of a sudden I felt my car being hit in the front and in the rear I couldn't see and I was unable to get out of the car Confused and in disbelieved I screamed and honked for someone to come around but nobody did They lifted the brushes and sure enough there I was sandwiched in between two cars Now, I could see the damages in my rear and front bumper I asked for someone to give me an explanation
After waiting for the manager for almost min, He, Mike, walked up to me with an attitude and in a very rude manner tells me that he saw nothing wrong with my car I showed him the damages and he said not to worry, and that he was going to take care of the damages if indeed it had happened in the car wash I replied that it was unfair for him to imply that, when he knew it had just happened inside the car wash and due to a malfunction of his machine Plus my car was week old I said it did not have any damage whatsoever before I enter his premises He, the manager kept evading responsibility and for more than hour in this place,He said that he was going to sort things out and call me right back within the next hour I insisted asking for his information and the car wash insurance etc He refused to give me any information except for his name, and phone number He never called After two days trying to get a hold of him or someone, I was able to speak to the owner's wife and she was apologetic and explained that they were new owners/management and not to worry and said "I will talk to my husband" blah blah blah" and "will call you back" She, they never did
Meanwhile, I had to contact my insurance company to have them handle the situation I had to pay my deductible to fix the car My insurance company tried for months to resolve this issue with them Believe it or not they were unable to find them, or their insurance so they suggested that I take them to court
I decided to share this awful experience because I find it unacceptable that a company like Torrance Car Wash, would not take responsibility for something caused by the malfunction of their machine, inside their premises, mishandled by their manager, their owner, etcit is a shame that they get away with something like this when they are obviously at fault They are no different than a thief
I dont recomend, they are rude, unprofessional, management is disrespectful!
Unfortunately, this was by far the most expensive and unpleasant car wash ever!!...if you decide to wash your car at Torrance Car Wash BEWARE! It may cost you your deductible
