Erroneous Billing for blood tests not performed for an amount exceeding $and turned over to Collection agency while the bill being disputed
I had visited the ER twice in a one week period on Nov 1st and Nov 4th ,After numerous request for a breakdown of charges, the Torrance memorial hospital provided the information on 3/1/After reviewing the charges paid by Anthem PPO my insurance company on my behalf, I saw erroneous charges for blood tests on my Nov 4th visit which were never performedThere were also other charges for which I sought explanation since the amounts varied from the first visit on Nov 1st.I mailed a letter seeking such clarification on March 8th, NO reply to date and instead I received a call and two bills from a Collection Agency Universal Accounts based in Pasadena for these amountsThe bill is in dispute both by me and also Anthem Blue Cross My insurance company
