Review: I went to Torre Services Inc. to purchase a 53ft Refrigerated commercial Trailer. after sitting there for 8 days waiting on the trailer. I finally got the trailer. But on my first trip I lost a 3 tires because they had put on Dry rotted tires, also during that trip I had shorts in the lights. And when I went to have the Lights fixed, I find that they have also cut away the ABS brake system warning lights. Making the trailer Illegal to operate. So I parked the trailer. I called them and they refused to fix the trailer and after 30 days went by they Repossessed the trailer. They won't refund My money. They want make it right.Desired Settlement: I want my $3000.00 Deposit back and the 1100.00 on new tires. A total of $4100.00.

The policy of Torre Service allows trailer returns upon the following two conditions: l-The lessee is up to date on payments, and, 2-The lessee pays the repossession of retrieving the vehicle if they cannot return it to us themselves.

In the case of [redacted], he used the trailer for a month and a half, resulting in rental fees alone of $1500, which is under signed contract. He was to return the trailer to us in New Jersey, but inexplicably left our equipment unattended in the state of North Carolina. Our retrieval fees totaled to $1665. {the total of this assessment includes a combination of travel ticket to arrange and send a CLD licensed driver which was $165, and to pay the return of the tractor trailer, which was $1000, and payment of $500 for the initial tow to a tow yard from where he left it in Carolina] ([redacted]-——negative balance of $165)

Now his statement indicates he invested in tires, and we know that to be either unnecessary or false. Our policy requires complete and thorough inspection of any vehicie before initial departure from our facility. He and we inspected the vehicle and all tires and brakes were sufficient, he was not forced to leave with a single tire and brake inadequate and/or unsafe. Further, we require inspection sheets to be filled out and signed before on 3,: vehicle departs our facilities, as in the case of Mr. [redacted] and all customers. Once the vehicle leaves our facility, the customer is responsible for repairs (tires, brakes, lights, etc.) It is false that he invested $4100 with us in the trailer. His only payment was $3000 down payment, and he did not pay the first month’s rent.

It is the policy of Torre Service Inc, to agree to end contracts prematurely only when all financial obligations are satisfied. We initially attempted to offer over and beyond what was required which was $500 as of our cunve rsation with him on November 11, 2013. We are now prepared to offer $250 if he agrees to these terms and conditions; He must waive the right to take any legal action against Torre Service in the future, and agrees that he is voluntary relinquishing these rights.

Please understand that this offer is an attempt to create a resolution only to. We have been in business for 30 years, compiaint free, priding our company in fair conflict resolutions.

I am rejecting this response because: It was Never a rental, it was a Purchase. I gave them $3000,00 as a Down payment and was to pay $1000.00 a Month. But I couldn.t use the trailer from day one of the purchase and They know this, I didn't leave the Trailer anywhere, but in Tennessee at my company drop yard. and I have proof of this. I also have proof of the condition of the trailer from Mechanic shops that worked on the trailer. I simple will not take less then my initial down payment of $3000.00 dollars back. I have tried to talk to these guys and tried to get them to fix the trailer, NOT PATCH IT. But they just don't want to do the right thing here. I have contacted a attorney now and plan to file suit, I have gave this Bush of crooks all the chances I'm going to give. Either the $3000.00 back or I'll let the judge decide weather 30 days lost of revenue is worth More. I WILL NOT GO AWAY
