I'm very sorry this happened and know how devastating it can be to loose a loving pet.

Because there are so many potential underlying causes of seizures, the workup must be step-wise and thorough, a comprehensive attempt to parse the possible culprits: disorders originating within the brain (tumors; viral, bacterial or parasitic infections; strokes; head trauma) from those originating outside the brain. For instance, nutritional deficiencies as well as toxins like lead, insecticides, moldy foods and some human supplements can provoke brain changes that lead to seizures. Additionally, metabolic abnormalities such as liver or kidney disease can cause seizures, and some anesthetic agents and medications may also trigger them in sensitive animals.
I have very healthy well bred dogs. No Seizure problems in any of my dogs. I spoke with the customer many times. She brought her puppy home and refusing further testing to identify the cause and treatments. My vet said it sounds like trauma because of the sudden death. She said you just don't die over the weekend because of sudden epilepsy. The pup needed an autopsy done. She had the sweet puppy for over 1 month, no problems, very healthy. I told her that I would give her another puppy if it has anything to do with bad breeding but we needed an autopsy done.

5 Year Guarantee
Provide puppy/dog with routine preventive care, such as, but not limited to: Annual physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian. Follow veterinarian guidelines for vaccinations and de-worming.
Your puppy is guaranteed for 5 year from delivery date against fatal and life altering congenital disease which adversely affects the health of the animal. This includes severe hip dysphasia, kidney, heart, pancreas, spine, and liver. If puppy/dog dies within this 5 year, the buyer will pay to have it autopsied to ascertain reason. If reason is congenital, Paradise Kennel will replace the puppy. All items covered under this guarantee are by replacement only. I do not give refunds.
Paradise Kennel will not be responsible for any medical expenses incurred. Buyer is aware that owning a puppy/dog means trips to veterinarian & understands that he/she is responsible for all payments.
This guarantee does not cover what in the breed is considered normal or environmental factors:
A puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows:
Paradise Kennel must be notified of the problem within 5 business days of the licensed vet's determination and have a report from vet stating the problem. After being provided with this information, Paradise Kennel will provide a replacement of equivalent value.
No replacement puppy/dog will be given if the puppy has been euthanized without Paradise Kennel permission.
This contract is null and void, if the terms and conditions are not fulfilled.
Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully.
I'm also very surprized she contacted the Revdex.com.
all the other puppies in the litter are fine and all the previous litters are also fine.
I find it very sad that we will never know what happened and what caused this healthy puppy to die.

-I am very disappointed in the response.
-I have never seen above warranty information-it was not on her website (as explained above) and we did not get any paperwork that stated this information.
-We did not have the puppy for 1 mos puppy as she was delivered June 4th -passed away June 26, 2016 .
- I disagree with her vet's remarks they are contrary to what was told to me by the 2 vets I brought my puppy to see on the weekend.
-I did not refuse to provide further treatments to the puppy I spent [redacted]$ trying to find out what was wrong with the puppy at 2 different clinics, I am highly insulted that this breeder seems to think I am a poor care giver. I spend 5 hours overnight in the ER clinic in dartmouth (pet emergency) and certainly do not feel like I let my pet down at all. I did everything I could.
-Shame on you for trying to blame me for my puppy being sick.
-I'm also surprised that you say you find it sad that you will never know what happened to the puppy as I did email you regarding her death and did not hear anything from you about it.

Sorry you feel disappointed and I'm not saying you are a poor care giver or that you caused the death of your puppy. And just like me, You make me feel like I sold you a sick puppy. She was not sick, she was very smart, loving and very playful. She was with us for 2 months. had a normal birth very strong and healthy.
We will never know what happened to the puppy because she was never autopsied. That's what autopsies are for.
the pup needed to have full blood work done. You told me on the phone that your vet didn't do it. You also told me that your vet gave her fluids because she was dehydrated. My vet said that she is pretty sure it was trauma or poisoning. I don't know what happened. I told you on the phone that I will give you another puppy if it because of bad breeding, but you need to have an autopsy done. accidents do happen.
my warranty was always on the website under puppy info. I can't see how you missed it with all the times you were on the website.
I was expecting a full vet report/autopsy. Even a vet name and number so I could talk to them. I received nothing. except a Revdex.com complaint. We could of settled this with (in good faith replacement)
After our phone conversation I really don't understand why you took this road. Especially after this being your second dog from us.
I was always there for you and answered all your questions. All the emails...
Just so you know...I am highly insulted too.
