Regarding the complaint for Jewell Pierro ID#[redacted] that I had received from your company on 07/31/2015, the customer had failed to come in with all of her documents to get financed with the finance company that we were working with at the time of the purchase...

of 1999 Infinity QX4 on 03/18/2015 she did in fact signed the contract for the finance company and since she didn’t come in with all of her documents the finance company didn’t want to finance her and she only paid a portion of her down payment of $500.00 on 03/18/2015 and she had signed our deferred payment letter from my company Torres Auto Sales Inc. on 03/18/2015 and she agreed to the payment arraignment for the down payment which she defaulted in making the payments and we had started the vehicle registration process on 04/27/2015 but didn’t complete it because we needed her to come in to sign our in house contract and go over the monthly payments and terms with her and she didn’t come in and reading the complaint she said that the vehicle wasn’t in her name and I can send you copies of the finance company contract and a copy of the incomplete vehicle registration that shows that it was done on 04/27/2015 and her complaint says that the problem occurred on 06/11/2015 and we had called several times to tell her to come in and we had left messages on her voice mail and at times there was no answer and the last we heard from her that she was in Florida and the vehicle is out for repossession. So if you can give me your fax number I can send you the copies of the contract and vehicle registration that shows that we had started paperwork for [redacted].   Car in question: 1999 Infiniti QX4 Vin #[redacted] Plate #[redacted]

Review: I bought a 2005 impala from them 3/2015 & I was suppose to be refinance through a company in LA. My 1st payment was due in 04/10/2015. I mailed my 1st payment a money order to the refinance company. The same day, I mailed my payment, I took the car to the owner because he had promise to fix the radio and figure out why the car security comes on. The owner and his daughter told me I was supposed to make the payment to the refinance company and instead make my payment to them. I explained I already mailed it out to them. They stated they will call the refinance company get the money. I left the car there for 5hrs. I picked it up and all they did was changed the oil. I went up there again they stated they wanted me to do a new contract. I explain I am not doing a new contract. The stated I do not have to make a payment until I am refinance. So they going to try again. I said ok. They texted asked for paper they needed (phone bill , utilities bill) I explain to them the car had overheated. They said they will take a look at the car and they will call me. They came the same day and knock on my door to get the key and I gave it to them. I called a week later they said you need to make a payment and they are fixing the car. I told them I am not refinance yet. He said yes you are I have a new contract. I called again they kept blowing me off. Now its been a month and I called again and they told me the car is now considered repo. I never sign a new contract. I never was refinance. Now the car is on the lot to be sold again.Desired Settlement: They are very extremely rude and unprofessional. I will like my down payment back and the 1st payment back!

Review: After purchasing a vehicle from this company I never received my contract, vehicle registration, or current tags. After several attempts to contact them I was bluntly ignored. After being pulled over for the issue several times I was informed that I was not even the registered owner for the vehicle and the dealership would not provide proof that I was. After signing the contract for the alleged creditor of the loan I was to receive I was told by the creditor that I was not in fact on any loan thru them that they never received the full application to begin a loan with them.Desired Settlement: I would like my full down deposit and months payed refunded for this matter. I was never put as the registered owner and never received any paperwork, I basically payed a car that someone else owned.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: The process started for paperwork was still began well over the months allowance thru CA state law for registration of vehicles purchased used. Down payment was made to them and first months payment pending DMV paperwork and up to date registration. I was never called to sign any other papers only asked to bring the vehicle to the dealership so they could take it to DMV and get it registered. They were notified several times about me moving from May to this present time my father went down there several times and they even harassed him at his home. No email I sent was returned no call I made was returned only text messages from [redacted]. In those messages I was told there was no need to contact the finance company for my payment options since I would need to go in person, being that I moved there was no way I could and I stated that all payments would be brought up to date upon me receiving my registration. I was then told they had all the paperwork in the office I just needed to go down there and pick it up, all DMV registration papers etc are mailed by DMV to the registered owner which would have to be me why would the papers be sent to them. I never received a copy of my contract thru bthe company being used for finance, upon speaking to the finance company Torres Auto began but never completed an application in my name, began the day of my purchasing. I gave Torres Auto all documentation they required from me, license, proof of address, and proof of income. To date I still have not received any calls emails or paperwork i.e registration or tags, and have made it clear unless I do there will be no payment made since they are breaking the law by with holding documents that should have been given to me a month after purchase and I have no financial obligation with no finished financial application or financee.[redacted]
