T We have received the consumers complaint dated October 7, and offer the following: This is the first time we have heard from the Consumer since the vehicle was serviced on June 03, 2014. Four (4) months have now passed. Firstly, the consumers [redacted] warranty paid for the blower switch repair (minus the $100 deductible). Regarding the transmission; the service records and technician noted no leaks at the time with the vehicles odometer reading 95,365. The service department did in fact perform a flush with the proper fluid as this is documented through our parts department. I would add that his personal repair of the switch is never recommended as we recommend qualified and trained service technicians to work on vehicles. We are more than welcome to have the consumer stop in and discuss the matter. If the consumer thought the switch was our fault, we would have gladly repaired it at no cost as we do with the vast majority of these issues.

Review: We went to Torrington Hyundai on Saturday 11/16/13 We were approached by the sales guy he was very nice. We told him were looking for an SUV, showed us the [redacted]. My husband took it for a test drive, came back and said I like it. Went and got a price that they would give us for the trade. They said we'll pay off the loan you have and you don't have to put any money down. I was greatful and in shock. The finance manager rambled off a lot of information. I asked to see all the paperwork, but never got to see any they handed everything to my husband. I never saw the papers it's was about 4:30 and the finance guy seemed like he was rushing us out if there. I asked if we didn't like it could we bring it back, they said they did have a program like that. We have 30days from the day we drive it off the lot. On 11/18/13 we had to go back and have the car emissions done and registered. The sales guy had trouble starting the car, he asked if we did I said no. After was told battery was fine. We went back 11/22/13 I wanted the sales guy to taking the etching price off because I wasn't asked and didn't want it. He said we didn't pay but everyone else says we did. We left after getting no where. Got to the gas station and the car died after we put gas in. I called the dealership, the guy came and jumped us, turns out the battery was bad, got a new battery. On 11/23/13 check engine light came on, called at 4:30 and was told they were closing and to call service for an appointment. I called the guy said they were booked and they couldn't do anything til Tuesday. I said, but it's the check engine light he said as long as the light was not blinking its fine to drive. Called the sales guy and told him we wanted into another car and have gotten the run around ever since. People are not calling me back. Got the check engine light looked at 12/5/13 was told next time we have to pay. 12/7/13 my husband found pieces to a ratchet tools that they left under the hood. Service said what do you want us to do about it.Desired Settlement: I want to have the contract ripped up and get into a different vehicle and start from scratch or I want the contract ripped up, they take back the money they gave to the bank to pay off our car loan, and we go to a different dealership and look at cars. Due to all the stress I ended up in the ER with a severe asthma attach on 11/25/2013. Tech scanned found P0455 gross Evap leak. Cor found gas car loose tech reinstalled gascap performed test passed okay at this time. Check engine light back on.
