to start I was going to do an "all you can take" session with steven, I went 3+ weeks ahead of my date and gave him a deposit and reference pictures, I brought in my deposit and stood at the shop and waited for 10 minutes no one greeted me, so I had to walk through the shop and I found a worker tattooing a client I explained that I was leaving my deposit, he told me to leave the cash on his tattoo cart, he wouldn't give me a receipt. I had texted the artist to ask if he had completed my reference drawings, he said no and kept pushing me off and on 3 separate occasions throughout 2 weeks he told me "oh ill send you sketches tomorrow", I didn't hear from him for an entire week, every time I tried to call the shop and contact the artist I was either hung up on or they would say he is busy he will call you back, which he never did. so then 6 days before my appointment I reached brett who informed me that steve would not be doing my tattoo brett would, so they made me drive an hour away to the shop again to give Brett the reference pictures, then 4 days before my appointment the owner john calls me he had to be intoxicated, he was yelling and slurring his words, he began to talk down to me and scream at me, he told me that I was asking for too much, that their "all you can take for $399" special was not as described, he told me I was stupid and didn't know what I was talking about. he ended up hanging up on me, I tried to reach brett and eventually did 2 days before my appointment where he told me he couldn't do my tattoo, he claimed he wasn't capable of doing my work, which was a batman inspired piece, even though he had told me he was working on an entire batman piece for another client, he said I could meet him at the shop at 1:30 on my lunch break that day to get my deposit, of course at 1:30 he wasn't there I had to wait 10 minutes for him to come back. I took an entire weekend off from 2 jobs just for them to lead me on and treat me horrible, I later went on [redacted] to review the experience I had and the owner had responded yet again talking down to me lying to me and changing the story, when I tried to respond I noticed he had blocked me from commenting on the post to defended myself.
