I took my bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding here based on a few reviews I readMy dress needed to be taken in on the bodice and hemmedHow sorely mistaken I was! I took my dress in mid September and was told it would be done by September I went in on October 1, a day after it was supposedly doneThey had to search the entire store to find my dress, and of course it wasn't doneI was assured it would be done by noon the following dayImmediately, I was worried about the work being rushedI was tempted to take my dress but I didn't want to be rude, and I wasn't sure if another tailor could have it done in timeSo I let them alter itSuch a huge mistake! The floor length hem was clearly marked for the length required for my shoes, but *** instead went off the ticket which said hem 2"So the hem is also now completely crooked instead of being hemmed to my bodyThe inner shell layer is way longer than the outer chiffon layerAnd the stitching is so much worse than what I can do on my mom's old sewing machine from the 1970s! Not to mention the back of the dress is 2" shorter than what it should beSo much for the heels I bought specifically for the dressWhat a hack jobAs for the bodice, it was taken in with darts on the top instead of taken in correctly on the sidesThe darts have put holes in the beautiful fabricJust looking at the work put me in tears, because the wedding is two weeks away and the expensive floor length dress was custom for the weddingI almost couldn't bring myself to go back and complain, but I sucked it up and went in*** acted so confused about why it was too short and crookedShe pulled on the dress and said it was fineBut ultimately she gave me my money back and said it was free, so she didn't need to say sorryHow horribleI took my dress to another tailor and she was so completely horrified by the previous workShe now has one week to fix it, as well as try to add matching fabric to the bottomI am crossing my fingers that *** did not ruin this important dress for good! The new tailor also told me she's gotten several articles just this week that were hacked by ***Do not take anything to ***The price may be okay, but you don't even get what you pay for
