The information provided by the customer are not percent factualShe failed to mention that the car was brought into our service center on 6-24-She didn't want to pay us to do a diagnoses on the vehicle she only wanted us to fix the belt issue (someone had the complete pulley and belt system routed incorrectly and they were not lined up and loose) and put in a radiator (SHE STATED INSTALL ONLY, SHE ORDERED HER OWN PART OFFLINE AND DIDN'T WANT US TO DO A DIAG OR BUY THE PART ONLY INSTALL)Time drags on and on and finally she brings us the radiator to install for her but she claimed she had NO money to pay us for the work and wasn't sure when she would have the moneyAt that time we took her car apart to make the repair when we notice she ordered the wrong part and it would not workSo we advised her that we can not allow any future outside parts because we lose a lot of time dealing with incorrect partsWe advised her that we can not allow the car to just sit here without being paid to let us know when she will have the moneymonths later (actually day shy of months) she finally has the money to pay for the repairs (normally after business days we charge storage per day but in this case we waived those charges) We advised the customer of all charges up front and she approved the fees and was informed of all services and charges and she in clear agreement of the chargesFinally after months of trying to come up with the money she contacts us to schedule pickup, we finish the vehicle but notice a couple additional repairs that she will need to makeThese being, her air cleaner box was cracked and broken, and the radiator cap was not holding pressure (from her having to keep putting water in it like she claimed it wore the seal out)We advised her we normally DO NOT PUT USED PARTS ON CARS, but to help her out we could go do the junk yard (a long process and takes time from our shop) and removed a airbox for her and put it on her car and will NOT charge her the labor to remove from junk yard car, the fuel we spend driving there, the labor to put back on her carbut she would only have to pay the $for the used part from the junk yardShe declined and said she don't have just to see what we can do to make it work for now and she will worry about it laterHer car would not start because the battery was dead from sitting here for months and not being started, which can be expected of courseSo that's what we didThis lady was very difficult to deal with and would not ever welcome her back as a customer to our shopShe cost us a lot of money wasting out time with parts that do not work, as well as bringing her car to our shop and NOT HAVING THE MONEY TO PAY US FOR THE REPAIRSIt took months to get paidWe simply do NOT have time to deal with these types of quality of customersThanks

I totally disagree with the owners response. I had my car there , but never told them I didn't want an diagnosis done. My car was there for 4 months as he stated ,but my air box was in tact ,and sealed together. WHEN I NOYICED IT I THEN ASKED WHAT HAPPENED. My radiator cap was also until I picked my vehicle up. His employee stated that they accidently broke it when they took my car apart. He claimed that the employee that done it had been fired . I stated to him that I was going inside ,and talk to the owner, because he is still responsible for his workers work. They tried to tell me afterwards that they could repair for 20 dollars told them no , because we should have to pay . And that if it was cracked at the bottom it has nothing to do with them putting it back together if the little crack was on the bottom. I thought they out it back together until the next morning it was shaking real bad lifted the hood , and there sat my box all open with one snap tie around one edge. I returned the next morning on Saturday . O n the way I spoke with him on the phone he replied he wasn't at the shop , and the guys may or may not look at it . As I pulled up he says " YOU can stop talking now im right here . " So by then im upset , because he's told me a lie. He proceddeed to tell me was I gonna keep talking or let the guys look at . I told him who I was talking to had nothing to do with them getting my car back together. He grabbed the garage door , and Sai come back another day . I return again on Monday telling him again their reliable for the repairs to my vehicle . He pretened to concerned due to other customers being in the office . Pretened he didn't know what they had fixed on my vehicle or anything . still not agreeing to fix it. Finally He stated that He could mysreiusly go out back and get one and give it to me . I will find a way to show you the picture . I believe that the box on there doesn't go there . It was put there to get me to agree to more repairs. Niether side of the box mathes to even put it back together. They left the screws laying on the inside of the hood. Everytime he told them what to do they went behind closed doors. The price alone was a rip off . The original price was 489.00 , then it went to 589.00 , and by the time I picked it up he tried to charge me 623.00 . Claiming they had added the part they tore up to it. without my permission. So I had them to take it off and told them I shouldn't have to pay for their negligence. The owner should be reliable for he employees actions. So instead of paying the 20 dollars and because I intimidated by him I told him to put it back together which they failed to do . Their negligence could very well have my car to stop running the box they tore up goes to my computer. I will not except anything , but the repairs to my vehicle. I think its only fair . I am also printing this response along with the rest of this complaint to my attorney.

This response is basically the same as the original complaint made. Again the air box was cracked and damaged when removed from the car (very common thing when working on cars to discovery further issues). We advised her that it was damaged and that we would GO TO THE SALVAGE YARD FOR HER ON OUR TIME AND NOT CHARGE HER AT ALL FOR THE TIME, THE LABOR TO REMOVE, THE FUEL SPENT ON GOING THERE, THE TIME TO INSTALL ON HER CAR, ALL FOR FREE she would have to just pay for the part. That was not good enough for her. Not sure what other shop would do something like that to please a customer. Again I will stress that we was very patient with this customer, and sometimes nothing is ever enough. We allowed her 4 months (yes I repeat 4 months) to pay us the money she owed us!!!! NO OTHER SHOP WOULD ALLOW HER THIS TIME WITHOUT CHARGING HER STORAGE. Please close this case.
