I am rejecting this response because: Dear Total Beauty Experience, what you are failing to recognize is that I did go to you first, I filed this complaint Saturday morning after I warned your manager who absolutely refused to give me my money back. You chose to respond after this complaint was filed with the Revdex.com. Furthermore, I updated my review twice, I will not remove it. As a conscientious consumer it is my responsibility to alert fellow consumers to businesses that fail to meet their responsibilities so that other consumers can avoid the problems I had at your store. I wouldn't be doing my due diligence if I removed my faithful and factual review of what occurred and your response. The honest truth is, is that I went to your store Saturday morning for my refund and was refused due to your store policy. I left your store and filed a complaint. You had a change of heart late Saturday afternoon (nearly 5 o'clock if I recall correctly). At this time, I will not remove my review. I appreciate that you respected me enough to refund my money, and I will respect other consumers to make informed decisions and therefore will not be removing my review.

Review: I went into the store on Friday, July 31 to pick out a mask for my face. Upon getting home that evening just a short while later I discovered that this product was six months past it's best if used by date. I returned to the store on Saturday, August 1 to return the item and request my money back. The cashiers both agreed the item was sold six months past it's due date. A refund on my money was absolutely refused stating that the policy for 21 years has been no money back only store credit.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back. I cannot see myself shopping at a store that sells items past their due date. I believe consumers have a right and responsibility to spend their hard-earned dollars where they deem appropriate. I feel that this stores policy violates that right and forces consumers to spend money at their store even after being wronged. By giving me a store credit at a store that I will never shop at again guarantees that they just get to keep my money.
