I have been using Total Comfort since I moved to Danbury CT years ago and I must say honestly the best company I have ever dealt withThey are friendly, knowledgeable, trusting, timely, and I love the shoe covers, so thoughtful!!!! I just can't say enough about them, I truly think this company is well trained and kudos to the head boss/owner!!! Great team you have working for you!! Every time I get a new tech, each year, he's better than the last one, if that could even be! I should be their spokesperson!! Great service Total Comfort!!!!

The air condition technician was not able to fix problem on his first visit, and installed a thermostat which I think it was unnecessary, though he seemed to be able to identify possible issue on the wiring later on So I had to call in an electrician to fix short out issue next day and had my air conditioning system run normally The ac guy followed to connect ac system wires, which the electrician could really do by himself if the ac guy did not leave his tools in my property So I would not recommend Total Comfort, the heating & Air conditioning company in Danbury, CT

I purchased a "used" tankless water heater from ----- when he stated it had been installed in a home but that the owners had never transitioned from their old water heater. He claimed it was in the home for about one year at which point he bought it back and had to sell it as used, although it had only ever been installed. This meant I bought it for a reduced price, which all sounded great...until the water pump, mother board, and flame rod all went out in it only 15 months later rendering us without hot water for a week. This is incredibly frustrating after paying over 3 grand for the water heater and installation. Additionally, upon dealing with the manufacturer for parts we learned the water heater was in fact 4.5 years old when it was installed in our home. Since we could prove our installation date the manufacturer is paying for parts, but not the labor.
The employees at Total Comfort were wonderful each time they were in our home and I was always pleased with their work. Be prepared, however, to have to challenge the bill. Each time I received a bill it came out to the penny what was estimated while I didn't have all he work on the estimate done. They did refund me money on one bill after I confronted them but would not on the other. I had decided at that point I would never again use Total Comfort for anything, and now my water heater has broken. I have used Westin Mechanical for all the repairs to the faulty heater and have been very pleased with both their work and billing.

Review: I purchased a new home in April 2008 which had brand new Lennox Central Air. I have 3 units for the three zones in my home and the units were professionally installed by Total Comfort who is an authorized dealer of Lennox products. In May 2013, 5 years and 1 month later, we discovered that 2 of the 3 condensing units were rotted beyond repair and can not be repaired. These units failed 1 month beyond the 5 year warranty and both Lennox and Total Comfort have said its our problem and that we damaged the units. The average lifespan of these units should be 10-15 years and 2 of the three failed at less than half the normal lifespan just out of warranty.I have had two different technicians examine these machines and both told me that they could not see a reason for them to fail this early and this was highly unusual. Total Comfort and Lennox claim that they failed due to having mulch around the base. Well they are outdoor units placed in a planting bed by Total Comfort so one would assume they know how to properly install these items. I can assure you that I am very attentive to these units and frequently clean and check the integrity of these machines. The only help either Lennox or Total Comfort offered was to install new units at the FULL retain cost of $11,000. Thanks for nothing!!

I am willing to be fair and split the cost of new units and install. Or warranty the defective parts and stand behind your products. These are a very high dollar item and to leave a customer one month out of warranty holding the total bill is really poor practice.
