TDA has agreed to refund Mr. [redacted] 12 months of premium. TDA has spoken to Mr. [redacted] regarding this decision and this case should be closed.
Review: TDA has been making automatic bank debits directly from my bank account for 22 months resulting in over $600. On March 30th 2012, I filled out an application online to receive a quote for health insurance and dental insurance from contracted partner of both [redacted] and TDA. I was told to pay an application fee in order to finish the processing of my application and wait for the estimate. [redacted] provided me with the estimate and TDA did not; I declined the quote for both the health insurance provided by [redacted] and TDA to the third party company. TDA then proceeded to use my billing information provided online to continue to automatically debit my account unbeknownst to me. They provided No confirmation of the transaction, No copy of the contract, No receipts of payment, NOTHING nor by email or [redacted]. I discovered the unauthorized bank debits a few days ago while itemizing my deductions for 2013 and contacted them right away. I respectfully told them there had been some sort of misunderstanding and that I have absolutely no documentation sent from them to me regarding their quote, nor their contract. I respectfully asked for a full refund due to this situation and they refused. [redacted] did not bill me once and yet TDA billed me 22 times under the guise of a paid online application fee. One of their representatives that answers phone calls defiantly told me in response to my billing complaint that TDA is not obligated to email or contact me regarding each and every time they debit my account or for any other reason. I demand a full refund.Desired Settlement: I have been scammed by this company into surrendering my banking information for a service I never received or intended to pay for almost two years. I demand a full refund and an apology.
Requested Refund Amount: $645.48
