Total Flooring

I wanted to add my review for Total Flooring; Bristol, CT.. I had recently purchased carpeting for my home through my local [redacted] and they contract out with Total Flooring to do the install. I was a little 'uneasy' about this because I have heard nightmares of these 'contracted out install people'. Not Total Flooring per say but just 'contracted' people in general. Anyhow, once I made my purchase (on a Friday) through my [redacted], I was expecting to get a call from Total Flooring the next day. That didn't happen but I figured it was Saturday and that's ok; maybe they were off or just plain busy. Monday morning, I called Total Flooring (sorry, I was impatient, lol) so as to set up a date and time for my carpet install. The gentleman (I'm sorry, I forgot his name) from Total Flooring was very professional and courteous on the telephone; he had my information from [redacted] and was going to call me that day. I told him what my needs were, that the install needed to happen on a Saturday and if he could please accommodate that. He said that his installers were all busy with installs that following Saturday but he had one more installer he could check with. He then got in touch with the installer who said he 'could do it that following Saturday'. Date and time were set-up. So far so good... too good to be true? That following Saturday comes and the installer shows up around 8:30am - a little early from the 9:00am to 10:30am window they gave me but it's all good; the earlier the better. He introduced himself as Jonah. I thought, 'there is just 1 guy; we have 3 fairly good size bedrooms for carpet installation; is he going to be able to do this by himself? Well, he did. First, let me say that Jonah is a great guy. Professional, down-to-earth, just a super nice guy and WOW! He took his time making sure it looked perfect and cleaned up any kind of leftover mess after he was all done. What a fabulous job he did! The rooms look professionally done...I can't say enough; tremendous amounts of THANK-YOU's to Total Flooring for sending Jonah to do the install. What began as my husband and I being uneasy with unknown installers, turned out to be such a great experience. Thank you Total Flooring and thank you Jonah - your work is top-notch! So very, very pleased. I highly recommend Total Flooring and especially Jonah (I hope all of their installers are as good as he is). I also hope that Total Flooring is paying him well because he deserves to be. : )
