Total Lawn Care

My name is Shea G***-Owner of Total Lawn Care.In response to this customers complain I must say I am very surprised by her actions The complaint history is not correct It seems to me we did this work earlier than April 1st She called once and I went back over and looked at the
job I had an employee with me She had mentioned the drain boxes in the back needed more dirt around them and had a question about the grass I inspected the boxes They were fine They didn't need dirt The seed we put out on the trench lines looked good I may have forgotten to call her back but I did not get another phone call from her I have not heard from her till this complaint I did not solicit her neighbors up the street They were walking down the street and looked at out work We did bring in some dirt for them We did till, apply dirt, seed and put down erosion matting for them I did not go knocking on doors to solicit work from them As far a price goes I did not charge her more for the work They had new construction on a street above grade from her It had changed subsurface water flow It turned part of the job into a very wet situation I mentioned had I know that I would have had to charge more We did the best we could given wet conditions I told her when aeration season came in the fall we may have to till the dirt after it dried out and I would have to charge for that, if it didn't settle and work itself out Because of the wet conditions it did take us longer to did It was more labor she wasn't charged for I don't understand how she can complain about that The last thing I have to mention is, "perforated pipe" really You would use that if you had no place to channel water and were putting gravel in the trench to create a sub-surface drain field Basically, taking water above ground and placing it below We used non perforated so we could drain water to the curb This was working because it was draining down the street when I went over there to look at her questions/comments Not a complaint In all I was on the property at least times between estimates, doing the work, and revisiting the property I in all honesty did everything in my power to do the right thing in this situation I may have forgot to return the phone call or did call and there was no answer which was usual for contacting this customer There were no issues I found prevalent or anything that needed to be addressed I did not receive another phone call in late May, I would have called her back I always call customers back the same day if possible Again, this is the first I have heard of her in months I have no idea why she has issues She told me she knew that the houses up the street had caused this problem and was going to contact the city to see if they could channel the water into culverts that are located in her back yard Again, I do not know if that is the reason she is contacting you for something that is completely out of my control Thank You for your time Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance

MsDiaz, My rebuttal is that Mr*** did not do as he statedI would simply consider his promise to come back and "smooth out" the dirt piles and reseeding in the fall around the catch basins, and reviewing the work when I am at home- a resolution. If Mr*** came to my house times he did so when was not thereI actually took the first day off work when he was digging the holes for the catch basin on the first day and we met the next weekend for him to take a look and he confirmed coming back to "smooth out the dirt". So rather than to continue to rebut everything this could be solved quickly and professionally by contacting me to do the follthat was needed.*** ** ***
