Total Lice Control Shampoo

My family had TLC come and delouse my children. It was easy to make an appointment (first thing next day wow) . Debbie who answered the phone gave me tons of useful information... even before I made my appt. They accept HSA which is nice. Angel called to let me know when she would be here and was very professional, kind, talkative and patient with my children. I had already purchased the TLC shampoo from Walgreens, there was no pressure to buy more.

Total Lice Control is an unprofessional and unethical company based in the Phoenix metro area. They promote and encourage fear in families dealing with pediculosis capitis. They are not knowledgeable and accurate about the science of pediculosis and the spread of lice. They create fear in families to spend more money on their products and lice removal services. They charged one family I met this week nearly $500 to treat one child! Shame on [redacted] and TLC!!!!! It seems to me their employees are trained to give inaccurate and untrue statements to their customers for their own financial gain. The shampoo product they sell is very drying of the scalp and dulls the natural shine of hair. I used this company one time to help treat my daughter and the owner [redacted] gave me inaccurate information on lice stated many negative things about schools and district policies which are just untrue. Schools are using good best practices policies based to recommendations from reputable organizations such as [redacted] and [redacted]. I would never recommend this company or it's products to anyone. No one wants lice, but it's a nuisance only. No disease or harm comes from having lice. This company should be ashamed of their unprofessional practices. If you want help dealing with lice don't use this company!
