I am responding back with regards to the work provided by Morris Glass Co We first went out and measured for the insulated window units per customers request We quoted customer for the replacement of said units which totaled $The customer then told us that of the windows was still under warranty and we gladly changed the price on the quote to $ If we break that price down the window was $52.64, tax $4.34, labor$($for the 1st window and $for each addtl window we install wether it is warranty or not.) and we did not charge for the other window still under warrantyAll of out insulated units come with a year warranty against seal failure from the manufacturerIn a letter he wrote to us he made the statement,"what prevents your company from installing defective windows in orderto benefit from the rewards of labor charges"A statement such as this is absolutely rediculous Morris Glass is charged for the new replacement window until we send them back the defective one we remove from the customers home/business I fail to see how we would benefit in any way The warranty for insulated units has not changed by our company in the last years In fact, the customers that have had to get warranty work done are very please by the simple fact that they do not have to do any of the leg-work to get the replacement units under warranty Morris Glass is able to get any warranty windows replaced rather quickly as we receive productsfrom that manufacturer on a daily basis I am also enclosing a copy of the letter that was received in the mail along with the check for the work we did for you information The other glass companies in and around our area have the same warranty for insulated windows as we do because they use the same manufacturer as we do and in all honesty have a pretty good relationship with the other glass companies as we do refer business to each other if we are not able to get to a customer quickly and vise versa We do not charge for ALL warranty work Autoglass, Shower doors and storefronts have a different warranty by Morris GlassSo making the statement that we charge for all warranty work is completely false I am sorry that the customer feels that he has been cheated or we have been deceptive Morris Glass stands behind their work and we always try to please the customers to our absolute best Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at ***-***-*** W [redacted] , Manager

Morris Glass Co acknowledges the customer had previously had the windshield replaced through our Company. The previous employee glued the mouldings so when we removed mouldingsand clips to start new windshield replacement the mouldings and clips broke,we brought it to the attention of Mrs.... [redacted] we told her we would call Honda of San Marcos to order parts.I called parts dept.but the Manager was not very helpful or friendly,so I ordered from different supplier,when I called to follow up on order I was told there was a delay on shipment due to the Thanksgiving Holiday and that it would be delivered on Nov. 28th. I told Mrs. [redacted] once parts were here we would call to schedule a appointment since our autoglass is by appoinment. She was upset we could notaccomodate her when she showed up on the 28th,but our installer had a full schedule that day.So we gave her the clips and she purchased mouldings which we reimbursed her and said she was going somewhere else to have windshield replaced. Yes , the glass was scratched on one of the trips from our supplier in Houston, and the second piece was delivered to the wrong glass company and we got somebody else's glass, All this was explained to Mr*** in which he was given a discount for the inconvenience, the second time
Morris Glass along with the supplier will absorb the remaining cost of of the *** shower glass, yes this means that there will be no remaining balance left upon completionI have been in contact with Mr*** several times and as soon as we have the right glass , I will call him to schedule an appointment to finish his showerFrom time to time the glass manufacturer do have moments that they ship the wrong glass or it does come scratched, I sorry that the ***s experience was less than perfect .Respectfully submitted, *** ***

I am responding back with regards to the work provided by Morris Glass Co.  We first went out and measured for the 2 insulated window units per customers request.  We quoted customer for the replacement of said units which totaled $399.17. The customer then told us that 1 of the windows...

was still under warranty and we gladly changed the price on the quote to $229.98.  If we break that price down  the 1 window was $52.64, tax $4.34, labor$173.00 ($125.00 for the 1st window and $48.00 for each addtl window we install wether it is warranty or not.) and we did not charge for the other window still under warranty. All of out insulated units come with a 10 year warranty  against seal failure from the manufacturer. In a letter he wrote to us he made the statement,"what prevents your company from installing defective windows in orderto benefit from the rewards of labor charges".
