Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Yes, [redacted] did come and look at the A/C unit but by looking 'he looked in the covered unit' whereas other contractor took the unit apart, yes, he did get me a quote but not in the time he stated and at an amount (his 'good price') that was too high, we got another quote for almost half the price quotedHis price was $7100, the other was $for the work to be doneAnd all that was required to disconnect the unit was to pull the handle from the disconnect not remove anything from inside the unit Sincerely, [redacted]

I happy [redacted] found someone to install a seer [redacted] condenser seer [redacted] coil and a line set as well as all the trim (new disconnect, whip, pad) for $I offered a cheaper option to you (4-6k range) but you expressed the need for energy company financing, in order to do so we need to use a high seer rated piece of equipment The equipment alone my cost for the job is $3483.00, on top of that I need to add labor and mark upThis is not a question of price, this is a question of the unit being unwiredI apologize that we did not rewire the unit for you, as I stated in my last email this was for your safetyIf you were to go to your condensing unit and turn the “disconnect” back around, again have an electrical problem with the house then I am again liable for the safety of the homeI am also sorry that the quote was not in the time frame that we had disused, as I stated I am the manager not a salesman and I would work as hard as I could to get the price to you as fast as I couldI went to the home on a Friday and I believe the quote was in the email on TuesdayAgain I did not charge you to make a second and even third visit to the homeI am happy that you were able to have someone fix you’re a/c needs in your home for that priceI wish I could have been your contractor to do soI apologize for the delay and for the miscommunication on both parties parts, but I do not feel this justifies a Revdex.com complaint *** [redacted] Service Manager Total Mechanical Systems LLC Ph: ###-###-#### Fax: ###-###-#### Cell: ###-###-#### "Where your comfort is our FIRST priority"

The complaint in question on 6/29/with said customer is a falsified complaintWe (total mechanical systems llc) went to her home in the summer of The customer had a grounded compressor, we left the unit off and disconnected due to the risk of fire if she tried to run the unitWe made
the customer aware what the repairs would cost her and she explained that she had no money to pay for the repairsShe then the following year called the *** *** (the lead source for the call) and placed a complaint on the same day as she had placed the complaint to you (Revdex.com)I called the customer and then went back to her home to go over options with the customerShe again explained to me that she did not have good credit and had no means to pay, she wanted to apply for a loan through the power companyI quoted her to do so and the price was too high for herI have made every attempt to help this customer, repair or replaceI have also always returned her phone calls and emails

My experience with Total Mechanical was for a HVAC repair on existing air conditioning equipment. I was given a quote on said repair , the next day they called and that quote doubled with the offer of a "good buy " on new air conditioning equipment. I said I'd think about it . I called back and had questions so they sent a salesman to my house . The original quote I was given now doubled . I was so shocked both quotes the one for the repair and the replacement both doubled. I called and they said they would have their operations manager call me back ,he never returned my call. I have owned my own home for over 30 years and have never dealt with a company that doubled quotes . The fact that the operations manager completely ignored this situation leaves me to believe this is business as usual for Total Mechanical . Shocking.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Yes, [redacted] did come and look at the A/C unit but by looking 'he looked in the covered unit'  whereas other contractor took the unit apart, yes, he did get me a quote but not in the time he stated and at an amount (his 'good price') that was too high, we got another quote for almost half the price quoted. His price was $7100, the other was $3800 for the work to be done. And all that was required to disconnect the unit was to pull the handle from the disconnect not remove anything from inside the unit.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I happy [redacted] found someone to install a 16 seer [redacted] condenser 16 seer [redacted] coil and a line set as well as all the trim (new disconnect, whip, pad) for $3800. I offered a cheaper option to you (4-6k range) but you expressed the need for energy company financing, in order to do so we need to use a high seer rated piece of equipment.  The equipment alone my cost for the job is $3483.00, on top of that I need to add labor and mark up. This is not a question of price, this is a question of the unit being unwired. I apologize that we did not rewire the unit for you, as I stated in my last email this was for your safety. If you were to go to your condensing unit and turn the “disconnect” back around,  again have an electrical problem with the house then I am again liable for the safety of the home. I am also sorry that the quote was not in the time frame that we had disused, as I stated I am the manager not a salesman and I would work as hard as I could to get the price to you as fast as I could. I went to the home on a Friday and I believe the quote was in the email on Tuesday. Again I did not charge you to make a second and even third visit to the home. I am happy that you were able to have someone fix you’re a/c needs in your home for that price. I wish I could have been your contractor to do so. I apologize for the delay and for the miscommunication on both parties parts, but I do not feel this justifies a Revdex.com complaint.

Sincerely,

Review: I received an invoice for "gold service agreement on gas furnace" with bill for $However, I never contracted with this company for any furnace servicing this yearI actually used a different company to inspect my furnace in 10/I do have a receipt showing that I paid for services from Total Mechanical Systems in March 2013, but I did not contract with them again because I was not satisfied with their servicesThey called me in asking for work, but I never set up an appointment nor did they ever come to my homeThis is a bill for services that were never receivedMy concerns are that it is unethical to send a bill to a former customer it is a ploy to make me responsible for services that were not rendered.Desired Settlement: I want a letter stating that there were no services rendered and an invoice that states nothing is owedTake my contact information off their contact list
