Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/09/02) */ Ms [redacted] , Total Park is contracted by the owners of the parking lot to manage the parking at night and weekendsAll of the pay parking lots in which you parked for the Twins game have parking attendants that collect the parking fee and tell you where to parkTotal Park owns no parking lotsI would need to know the address of where you parked and your vehicle information including license plate, to have the owners check the envelopes for that time and dateMy employee Steve who answers the phone claims there were no messages left when you calledIf he didn't return your calls I apologize as he is suppose to return all messages leftIf you parked for Twins without paying the attendant? That is probably why they towed your car, most of the Twins lots are $for the game nights

To Whom it may Concern, Total Park/ Grade A security performed our service correctly, any more discussions should be brought to the attention of Tower LoftsTotal Park will not be refunding any of the towing feesNo refund is warranted since the rules set forth by Tower Lofts were not followed

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/01/25) */ This is in response to complaint XXXXXXXXI'm sorry for the lack of help you receivedI was out of town that weekI will check the envelopes from the night of 1-15-We keep all the envelopes bundled and time stamped from each time we check the pay boxThis way we know what vehicles have paid and what time they are in the lotI'm sorry for the frustration, but the owners of the lot hire us to check the parking lots at night to make sure everyone is paying for parkingThese pay parking lots have many people that try to park for free and it's a big problemTotal Park receives no money from towing vehicles, we are paid hourly for parking lot securityIf there was a mistake made I will make sure to get Mr [redacted] his expenses refunded

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 6, 2015/08/18) */ In response to the complaint from Ms. [redacted] regarding the towing of their mini van for non payment of parking fees. Ms. [redacted] is mistaken about another vehicle being towed from this parking lot before they parked. Their vehicle was towed... because there was no envelope found in the pay box with any information even close to matching their mini van, no spot number, license plate info, or type of vehicle. The envelopes aare taken from this box every 20 minutes and time stamped and stored for 6 months. After we receive payment for the vehicles , we mark the back of each vehicle as paid with a different marking each day. Total park is a contractor to the property owner and manages the parking lots after 6pm. The owner of the property collects the parking fees and stores the envelopes for 6 months. They would be the people to ask about checking the envelopes again. We checked the envelopes from the entire night and unfortunately we didn't find anything matching the Toyota Sienna van. Total Park receives zero money for towing any vehicles, the money all goes to the towing company except the 10 dollar parking fee that they give to the property owner. I would suggest trying the property owners, they can check the envelopes again. Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 8, 2015/08/25) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) We appreciate the response from Total Park. However, when I talked to him earlier, he rather emphatically said that there was no one else for me to talk about this, that he was the end all in dealing with issues of this sort. We would be interested in getting the contact information from him as a next step in trying to resolve it. Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 10, 2015/09/02) */ Total Park owns no parking lots, we are hired by the property owners to manage the parking lots in the evening and weekends. Ms. [redacted] can contact the parking lot owners and have them check the envelopes for that date and time, which I have already done. The parking lot company is Red Spot Parking. Total Park has nothing to gain by towing a vehicle except to collect the parking fee for the property owner.

In response to Ms***'s complaint about overpaying for parking at SWashington AveThe pay machine for parking doesn't give change for parking, as stated on the machineThe sign on the machine states it gives no CHANGEThe bar would
have given you change and validated your parking when you purchased something from the bar, otherwise no parking reimbursementThe bar doesn't own the parking lotI would offer Ms*** a couple free nights parking there in the futureI can't return the $as the machine instructions are very visibleThe person you spoke to on the phone says he was not treated very kindly eitherI believe in your frustration maybe things were said from both partiesI apologize for anything that was said that may have sounded derogatory and I have spoken to him about it

this gentlemans vehicle was towed from a open pay lot for non payment of the lot or for not displaying his ticket properly on the dashafter his vehicle was towed he called the towing company which in return they gave him our number to try to dispute this it was 21:hours and 21:hours that he
attempted to call phones are basically answered 9-mon- friif they left a message they are returned the following daythere was no message received from him.after receiving this email from Revdex.com we attempted to reach him leaving messages for him10/24/@ 09:58,10:02,and 18:also again on 10/25/10:with no answer and no return call

This is in response to the complaint I apologize for the delayed responseI manage the parking lot located at SWashington Avein MinneapolisWe actively tow vehicles from this lot who don't pay for parkingThere is a pay
machine at the lot entrance as well as directions as to how the parking worksThe ticket the customers receive states in bold print that it must be displayed face up with date and time showing, on the dashboardThe parking lot also has numerous signs stating the sameThis is the only way we can check to see if vehicles have paid for parkingIt is very expensive to operate a parking lot in Minneapolis, we need to receive payment from all parkers or we have them towedThe towing company then collects our unpaid parking feeI'm sorry for the frustration but when the permit is not visible on the dashboard we have to assume you didn't pay for parking

Hello, Total Park Llc has been providing Riverstation parking lot security for the past yearsI personally chalked the tires of vehicles in the hour guest parking at on 7-8-The chalk we use disappears after you move your vehicleI have spoken with the management at Riverstation and
they are supportive in the procedures and policies they have in placeTotal Park receives no money from towing your vehicle, we are paid by Riverstation by the monthThe money you wish to get back is the towing company's money not Total Park or RiverstationParking is at a premium in Minneapolis and the vehicle was parked on private property and did not follow the rules for parking

I have read Ms. [redacted]’s complaint and I will attach a couple pictures. The parking lot at [redacted] in Minneapolis is a pay parking lot with a machine that prints out a receipt upon payment. This receipt must be displayed on the dash of the vehicle so we can verify that the customer has...

paid. The parking lot is very well marked with signage stating the rules of displaying ticket on dashboard, and it states this on the pay machine and the printed ticket. Ms. [redacted] got towed because there was no visible ticket on her dash proving payment for said parking spot. It is our policy to have the towing company reduce their price for the tow by half price if the customer shows them the receipt for payment. This happens if the customer doesn’t place the ticket in the vehicle and keeps it on their person. The towing company will go to the customers vehicle with them to check for a ticket if the customer is adamant about it being there, and the vehicle would be released for no charge. Ms. [redacted] didn’t have her ticket displayed in vehicle as required,  but she provided it to the dispatcher at the pay window. Total Park is contracted to patrol the parking lot to make sure everyone parking has paid, and to tow vehicles that don’t display the paid receipt on the dashboard of their vehicle because most of these vehicles try not to pay anything. I feel sorry for what happened to Ms. [redacted] but I’m not willing to refund the rest of her towing fee as Total Park did nothing we aren’t hired to do.   Thank You, Mike [redacted] Total Park LLC

Dear Ms. [redacted], I'm not sure what happened because I check email often, but this is the first email I've seen about this? I read the complaint and unfortunately I can't refund the towing fee. It says on the ticket, the machine screen, and the parking lot signage that you must place your ticket...

right side up on your dashboard of your vehicle. The towing company sets their fees not Total Park.  Thank you for this notice. Mike [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:
When looking at the other cars in the spaces after my car had been towed and I was notified I needed to have a pass visible, only one other car had a pass visible in the window of their car.

To Whom it may Concern, I apologize for not responding sooner, the emails got sent to my junk email for some reason and I don't check that. Tower Lofts located at [redacted] in Minneapolis has contracted Total Park/ Grade A security to patrol their parking spaces for people parking...

there without permits. Tower Lofts and their guests know that all vehicles parking must have either a valid parking permit, or a signed and dated guest parking pass visible in the vehicle. Total Park performed the services as requested by Tower Lofts. Tower Lofts management hired our services and they would be the company to talk with about the signage and rules for parking on the property. Total Park doesn't set the prices for towing nor receives any monies for towing. Total Park is only responsible for checking the parking spaces and making sure that all vehicles are accounted for with valid permits provided by Tower Lofts. They have very limited parking and they need the parking spaces available for authorized parkers.

I am rejecting this response because: I placed my ticket on my dash! I still have the ticket in my possession as it was still in my car when I retrieved it from impound. Anyone can say it was not on my dash, but unless you provide proof, this is illegal! I had to pay $270 to get my car back that should have never been towed in the first place! I am still pursuing a refund and know you can do that, take it out of your own accounts if necessary since your company is the one who had me towed wrongfully.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/25) */
This is in response to Ms. [redacted]'s complaint about her vehicle being towed on 11-12-15. Total Park doesn't own any parking lots, we are hired to manage the parking lots after 8pm because people frequently park in these pay lots without...

paying for parking. It's a real problem that occurs daily. Total Park gains nothing by having a vehicle towed but the parking fees for the owners of the parking lot. I spoke with Steve the person Ms. [redacted] spoke with on the phone and heard a very different account of the conversation. The parking lot at 101 N. Washington has a pay maching that gives you a ticket that reads must be face up on dash of vehicle. There are also three large signs right by machine that state "You must display your ticket on dash of vehicle or you will be towed". Total Park did exactly what we are hired to do, have vehicles towed that don't display their ticket on the dash of their vehicle. Ms. [redacted] did pay for parking but didn't place her ticket in her car. As a courtesy to her we asked the towing company to refund her half price, which they did. The towing fee plus the parking fee came to $261.00 and they refunded Ms. [redacted] $135.00 even though she didn't follow the rules set by the parking lot. Total Park did what were supposed to do. I apologize for any frustration caused by the phone conversation with Steve but cannot refund any more money as Total Park doesn't collect any money, the $261 is the tow fee set by the city plus $10 parking fee. The only way we can tell if you pay for parking is when you display your paid ticket in the vehicle.

Ms. [redacted], Total Park is contracted by the owners of the parking lot to manage the parking at night and weekends. All of the pay parking lots in which you parked for the Twins game have parking attendants that collect the parking fee and tell...

you where to park. Total Park owns no parking lots. I would need to know the address of where you parked and your vehicle information including license plate, to have the owners check the envelopes for that time and date. My employee Steve who answers the phone claims there were no messages left when you called. If he didn't return your calls I apologize as he is suppose to return all messages left. This is in response to complaint XXXXXXXX. I'm sorry for the lack of help you received. I was out of town that week. I will check the envelopes from the night of 1-15-16. We keep all the envelopes bundled and time stamped from each time we check...

the pay box. This way we know what vehicles have paid and what time they are in the lot. I'm sorry for the frustration, but the owners of the lot hire us to check the parking lots at night to make sure everyone is paying for parking. To Whom it may Concern, Total Park/ Grade A security performed our service correctly, any more discussions should be brought to the attention of Tower Lofts. Total Park will not be refunding any of the towing fees. No refund is warranted  since the rules set forth by Tower Lofts were not followed.

I'm responding to the complaint by Mr. [redacted] about their vehicle being towed on 07-25-15. I don't know which vehicle is theirs or which parking lot they were parked at from the complaint. I can say that if they left the parking lot to get...

change without leaving a note or envelope in the box there is a good chance they got towed for non-payment before they returned to pay for parking. There are signs at the entrance to all the pay parking lots that say you must pay as you enter or risk the possibility of being towed. These parking lots have a big problem with people not paying for parking. Towing the vehicle is the only way for us to collect our parking fees. The parking lot is patrolled every 15-20 minutes to make sure all vehicles that parked have paid. If you pay after the vehicle was towed I can't do anything about that. If you spoke to my coworker and he didn't have an envelope for your vehicle then I can't do anything for you. If I knew your vehicle info and parking lot your vehicle was towed from I can check the envelopes again from that night, as we keep them time stamped from each time they drop each pay box. If the vehicle paid after they got towed I will be able to determine that and there is nothing I can do.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We paid for our parking.... period! Since the site said not to post personal information I wasn't sure if I should post my license plate number but it's [redacted] and it's an off white 2006 Buick Lacrosse. Yes I had to go in and get change but my car was there when I came back out and put the money in the box. It's possible the attendant dropped it. It's possible there is a thief on their staff. But I absolutely paid for my parking. I'm willing to fight this in court if we have to.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/08/11) */
This is a response to the complaint that Mr. [redacted] vehicle , Buick LeSabre plate [redacted]. I re-checked the pay envelopes for the night of July 25,26th. There is no envelope found for Mr. [redacted] vehicle information. I can't do anything for you as I have no proof of payment for parking. The $248.00 is the towing company's fee, not Total Park. We received the $5.00 parking fee from them. I don't believe I have a thief working for me, he has worked here for over ten years. We take the towing of a vehicle very seriously and triple check all the pay box's and the ground beneath as to not miss any envelopes that drop straight down. I don't own the parking lot, I'm just a contactor hired by them to manage the properties. If going to court is what you want then I will be there with all of our documentation of vehicles that paid for parking. I will show the steps we follow to ensure mistakes aren't made prior to having a vehicle towed for not paying to park.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/01/13) */
This is in response to case # 57321458. Total Park manages the parking lot located at 215 E. Hennepin Ave in NE Minneapolis after 8pm for Kramarczuks sausage company. I have talked to Steve who Mr. [redacted] spoke with and believe him that there were...

no envelopes at the pay box the night his car got towed. If Mr. [redacted] could send me the pictures of the box with no envelopes to [email protected] I would like to try and help get Mr. [redacted] a refund for the fees of the towing. Total Park doesn't receive any money from having a vehicle towed, we are paid hourly to patrol the property. I'm sorry for the inconvenience of this ordeal. You are always much safer at a pay parking lot to pay and leave a note or something identifying your vehicle in the pay box. There are signs saying you must be in Kramarczuks or pay for parking after 8 pm. I can't find an employee there that would say it's ok to park without leaving some info in the box? I will start the process of getting a refund after I see the pictures.
Thank you

I have sent Total Park LLC., a link to the video per their request. I have attached the link to the video in which I sent him. I apologize for the language in the video, it was taken by my brother in law.
I greatly appreciate the quick response from Total park LLC. I will assume they will be as fast at refunding me my towing fees as they did with dealing with this case, and I will not have to reopen the case.
