We are responding to the complaint from [redacted].  We were scheduled to deliver the tent to her house in Winchester on Friday June 23rd.  We called her when the truck was heading over to her house and she said she was there ready to receive order.   We arrived with her...

order which included a tent, tables, chairs, cotton candy machine and some dishware.   When we arrived her father told her we could not deliver because he did not want us to use the driveway and he did not want the truck to come on the property that afternoon.  We spoke with her and explained the we had agreed on the installation of the tent at this time and everything was ready to go.She said there was no way we could deliver and to come back the next day.  We took her order back to the shop and unloaded as she did not want it first thing in the morning.  She asked for an afternoon delivery.   We went back to her house the next day with the order.   We started to unload and the driver explained that they would secure the tent with water barrels.  [redacted] responded that her father would not let us use the water.  That it is was wasteful.  We can not install a tent even if the customer wants us to without making sure it is safe.  It is normal to use stakes or water barrels to secure a tent.  Water barrels are weights that hold the legs of the tents.  We could not stake at her location.    At this point the customer refused the tent and  asked us to send a smaller one that did not require water barrels.  We went back to the shop and picked up a smaller tent that could be secured with cement weights.  We did not charge her for this tent or  the extra trips that were required.We have been installing tents of this size for over 20 years and have never had a customer refuse to allow us to secure a tent to make it safe.  We can not make an allowance because the requests by this customer were unreasonable.  I appreciate that [redacted] said the drivers were helpful and nice.  The staff is instructed by management to always try and help the customer but sometimes regardless of the efforts the customer is dissatisfied.  We are sorry that this customer is unhappy but feel that the extra tent at no charge and the time spent to remedy different situations that came up  with no extra charge is all we can do.   We tried to be fair and respectful with this customer.Thank you.  Cambridge Taylor Rental

Revdex.com:Nothing happened the way the company stated.  I believe she was misinformed on my order.  There was no sending away the truck or denying delivery. This is what the owner threatened me with.   Without those 50 gallon drums filled with my water, then dumped down the driveway, we attempted to see if there was enough ground to secure this, there was not.  I would really appreciate the consideration and treatment a customer deserves.  False information given to Revdex.com to protect the business, is unsatisfactory for me.  I have written to Revdex.com in order to receive what is only due on return of funds, paid up front.  Not to continue to be treated completely unfairly at the expense of your company name.  I called, ordered and paid out of good faith.  If not paid in full, I would not receive a delivery.  I was not given an option of a deposit then pay the rest upon pick of equipment.  The company is treating the customer as if this is my fault.  Again, called, was told there were weights to hold down the large tent, was abused and threatened over the telephone by the Owner of this company.  I only want what is owed in refund of the difference in tent size and set up.  I really don't know what the big issue is to run a company treating the customer appropriately. I appreciate receiving my funds for the difference of the charges, I don't understand what the problem is.  I would not be writing if there was no problem.
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted].

I did not order anything for 3:30, I ordered my items for 2:30 ... It's on the original receipt and when I was given the refund the time was changed to 3:30. The even was NOT at a park. It was on my front lawn and we had a power connection. They did not supply an extension cord that I had requested. Therefore there was no way to give power to any of the items ordered. I never requested for the cotton candy machine to be brought back. There was no way I could use it?! I called to have the items returned because there was no explanation given to me of the return process. I assumed it would be picked up the same day after the event. These people are rude, inconsiderate, and lack communication. You can tell someone runs a bad business when their driver shows up and complains about them. I had to put in a dispute with my credit card company because they refused to give me a refund and were very rude. I did NOT make out with paying $0.00. That is a lie. I was given a refund only after I put in a complaint with the Revdex.com. They only gave me a refund because they read the message and it took them forever to respond. I did not get a refund for the full amount and that's fine. I got a refund for the items I had requested per the Revdex.com. That's all I was looking for.
