We have a signed lot reservation in Whisper Creek which is secured with $We have until Friday 6/at 10:to execute a contract or the lot is placed back on the ***et and made available to other purchasers We received an email stating that our lot was already under contract (they made a mistake) so they offered us another lot and requested we change our contract Unfortunately the alternate lot is not equivalent and will not be completed until months after the one we have a contract on They are unwilling to work with us on the new lot and their VP called me tell me that they are unwilling to sell me any property due to 'the tone of my emails'

We had a 1-year warranty walk through with a rep of Remington homes on 12-21-Multiple issues were identified and a majority resolved but with considerable follow up and persistence required on our behalfNow, four and a half months later, Remington has still not resolved final issues: Specifically, re-pouring a small defective concrete slab outside a side garage door and patching defective flashing/finish above the slabThe builder
's work has produced a water/leaking issueWe have been strung along with repeated reassurance it would be resolved but it has not beenResponsibility for fixing the problem has always been attributed to the vendor (who simply does not show up) with the builder evading the fact they are bottom line and thus, responsible for fixing the problem

I moved into our new home at *** *** in late August Several warranty items have not been complete although I have made repeated requests for action Most times I do not even get a response to my email Unresolved issues include:
inoperative kitchen drawer pull out
Replacement of windows which have failed in our master bedroom

Purchased a new home and prior to taking delivery the driveway was damagedThey spilled oil over it from a fork lift and miscpaint glue other items they left un cleaned on the drivewayThere is also a cracked a slab down by the street and one slab with a chunk of concrete broken out of itThere is also paint and other stains all over the porch They promised verbally to take care of this in a matter I would be happy withThey instructed their vender *** construction that if they could not get the oil up that they would have to pay to have it replaced ,informing me of thisThey have promised me everthing for replacing the whole driveway to replacing squares to squares and now we are down to one and not doing anything about the other damaged described aboveThey have tried cleaning it and have made it worse leaving me with areas scrubed with a wire brush taking the top coat off an worse make all over the place *** construction informed me that if it was going to be

We purchased our home from Remington Homes July 20thWhen we were building the house we requested to add AC and this is what we were told via email by Lori H***:
"Each plan is engineered for orientation due to solar heat gain The way the house faces determines the size as more windows facing south or west create a higher cooling load
So the design is specific for every house
In general the smallest it would be is tons and probably the largest would tons
Your home is getting a ton system if you chose to take it
In years past AC cooling systems were larger due to less efficient insulation and construction techniques Since we have been engineering systems and have increase d the energy efficiency of the homes we have been putting in systems around half the size they used to be 10-years ago, and have had better comfort and less call backs and issues as well."
