Worst Warranty Company I have ever dealt with in my life.
This company only will cover what you've already paid, forces you to transfer inoperable vehicles to alternative shops under "Their coverage". They are impossible to get any reimbursements accomplished for costs incurred through rentals. Their team lies to customers and tells dealerships or repair shops entirely different things. These people have ZERO knowledge of cars, the parts, the process, how to speak or deal with people, and should be shut down. NEVER use this company, and if a dealership sells this contract, ONLY bring your car to that dealership, and force them to handle it themselves. If I could leave a NO STAR review, I would.

Terrible, stay away
Denied my transmission claim because I was missing a few receipts of service over the course of seven years, none of which were the transmission service. They complained that I did my own oil changes and they would not take my photos, receipts, dates, mileage and photos of all my oil changes as proof..and that I was missing one other receipt. HOWEVER, I had the transmission serviced and they still denied on the other receipts. Stated that customers cannnot change their own oil even with proof. Whoever thought of this scam business should surely rot in hell. People are people, over the course of seven years no matter how good you are you're bound to lose or forget one receipt. Burn..

It was suggested by Chrysler dealership that I purchase this warranty to protect my newly acquired Dodge Challenger. As fate would have it, the timing chain broke within the first 2 months of owning the car. When I contacted the Total Warranty Company for assistance, I spoke with a young woman named [redacted]. Not only was the young lady very rude and unsympathetic, she seemed [redacted] bent of trying to discover a way that this was my fault. the line of questioning was somewhat accusatory and she in essence acts as if it was her money that was going to be applied to the claim. When I called and asked to be put in contact with a manager, I was told one would call me by the close of business on 4/18/2016. Its 4/19/16 and I still have not heard from them. My car has been siting at the dealers for 2 weeks waiting on them to issue the go ahead to fix the repair. Now because of the amount of the claim, it feels as if im getting the runaround. If ive paid my full premium, I expect the claims to get paid no matter the amount. Im just really sick of the non responsiveness and general ineptitude of this company. The fact that this place was referred by the dealership really irritates me. Who refers you to a company that isnt certified by the Revdex.com??!

I bought a brand new 2016 4 runner from [redacted] Toyota in Jacksonville florida and was told this was a great plan to get incase something happened to the car. Well my wife was involved in a wreck 7 months later in auagust with the result being a total loss. USAA paid the cash value for the car but now total warranty is trying to short change me and only pay $1,167 of the $8,900 that was remaining. Customer service is terrible and the people just say "were sorrry" in the smartest way you could ever imagine! No help what so ever and I'm still fighting them to try and pay almost 4 months later. I wouldn't buy another warranty from this company if they were the last company on earth!!!!

I bought a used car and the Platinum (best) extended warranty you can get through TWS.

Every claim we have had with them has been a fight. The most recent, toward the end of our warranty period, was for our failed transmission. It took 2 weeks of my car being in the shop for TWS to approve replacement or even a rental car.

Finally approved, they refused to replace with new parts- they bought a junk yard transmission with 60,000 miles on it as replacement and gave a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty (parts only, NO LABOR) on the replacement.

I have had extended warranties with other companies in the past and NEVER had the complete headaches that I have had dealing with this company! Make no mistake, they are all about shifting the financial responsibility and risk to the consumer and are not at all interested in doing what is right by their customers. Save your money and your headache- don't deal with TWS!!!!!!
