One year ago, Total Water came in to my apartment to discuss keeping the water softener that was left from a previous tenant in my basement I didn't think that really I needed one, I didn't even have a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and was hardly home The guy that was giving me his sales pitch had convinced me that my landlord required me to have it and that I needed to sign a month agreement I continuously asked why I would sign a year contract if I was only planning on staying there for the one year duration of my lease The man said that the contract is disregarded once I moved and I wouldn't have to worry about that The payment for this water softener was $per month I received the first bill, which was an additional $for the salt because it 'needed to be filled' (I believe that was a lie) Was not informed of that Continued on upset that I agreed to this and was waiting for the day that my lease was up to have that extra money in my pocket each month I moved out of the apartment and called the main office to inform them that my lease was up and I will make the final payment that day The office tells me that I am in a month contract with them and that I owe them the $for the duration of my contract I asked to speak with the General Manager and of course, went straight to voice mail Within that week, I left two messages and had not heard back from her since Yesterday, which would be one month later, I received a bill in the mail for $as an early termination fee Outrageous I refuse to pay this money to them, even if it does ruin my credit for the rest of my life, and will forever regret letting that man in to my home They completely scammed a year old into something that I didn't need just to get an extra buck I will never ever recommend them to anyone If I had agreed to set up direct withdraw from checking, they would have me locked in paying them that $per month for four more years for something that I wasn't even using How is that a way to run a business? I believe this is robbery and something needs to be done, especially for young, first time renters, and especially the elderly Please read this and think twice before going through Total Water of Baraboo, they are all criminals

First, I would like to apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused as well as offer my apologies if the customer service rep did not do her job appropriately
Our service tech was at the home early am, customer was not home, so he called her, no answer, he
left a message. Customer called our tech back at 8:am, our service tech told her that he would be back after 2pm. He also called the office and let me know what had happened. The office representative states that she did not know it had to be after 2pm, which is why the days route was set up as it was
Our service tech has been back to the home of this customer and has fixed the issue with softener
Phone call to tech came in at 8:am, he told customer he would return, this report was sent after that phone call??
