Total Wine & More

The Total Wine on Warner road in Tempe, Az had 5 employees test positive for covid-19 the did not let customers know or the vendors that come in to service the store, the store took precautions to protect themselves but not the public.

It is 7:32 pm and my order was supposed to arrive yesterday between 10 am - 11 am.
Yesterday, I called the customer service line and waited for 45 minutes. Then the line hung up on me.
I called again and waited for another 45 minutes. I got a customer representative that said he didn't want to answer the calls anymore because everyone has been angry because they haven't gotten their orders.
When asked why Total Wine and More's website took our money and let us pick a time for delivery. He said it was because they were in the process of getting their website fix so it wouldn't do that anymore.
When I told him I wanted to get my order, he said he can't control that at all because it was done by a 3rd party.
So, in other words, Total Wine and More is not taking any responsibility for these issues. Everything was out of their control because of the virus.
No, no, no... Total Wine and More should be doing fine. They are getting more online orders than they did before! They should take responsibility for how their customers have been treated.
Anyway, the guy told me it would delivered today. It isn't. On the website, it says my order is ready for pickup. Excuse me Total Wine and More... I paid for delivery, picked a time for delivery, and so on. I am not leaving my house. I spent so long on the phone and I can't believe the customer representative did not change the problem. It is not for pickup.
I have sent in email to Total Wine and More and they haven't written me back. This is so upsetting.

They had a special in which there was a $60 discount if there was a total purchase of $300 or more. The discount was $35 if the purchase was more than $200. I placed an order for slightly more that $300. The order was confirmed and then I received a cancellation for one item on the order which dropped the total purchase to less than $300.
They then dropped the discount to $35 which means that the effectively cancelled out one of my items and and charged me the same price. This is dishonest and stealing. I will pick up my order and never come back.

Online stock said what I wanted was in stock and didn't even say limited. When I drove all the way to the store I was told that it's been won't of stock for 5 months and they don't focus on their online stock numbers. Seems like a scam to get people in the door. A waste of my time and gas

I love this place! The store is well kept, maintained, and everyone is knowledgeable about their products. I have never had any issues (and you should bring your ID - common sense as they sell alcohol). They are family friendly (provided you don't try and do something illegal - again, common sense) and have always taken good care of me when I wanted to try something new. I have shopped at Total Wine & More for years and bought Christmas and Birthday gifts to other holiday's as well. I recommend this location!

I almost absolutely turned off by this place. I went with my wife to purchase wine. The manager helped us. We walked the store for 10 minutes. At no point were we made aware that both of us needed ID although one person was purchasing. I did not have my purse with me, it was in the car. They refused to let us purchase wine until we BOTH present ID. Mind you I am 38 and I don’t look a day under 30. When we walk in the store we should be told that ID is needed from all parties. The manager said there is a sign on the door, since when am I expected to read a small sign before entering a wine store. Horrible customer service. Even when I offered to leave and just let my wife purchase they refused us. Because it’s Valentine’s Day and we spent 10 minutes of our time choosing three bottles of wine, we made the purchase. I went and sat in the car while my wife went back in the store with both of our identifications to complete the purchase. Fredericksburg Virginia Central Park location.
