Review: I submitted a cancellation request on 8/13/2015. I was told that my cancellation would be processed and my last month deposit would be applied to the month of September. On September 1st I was charged a full month's membership fee and was told that it was an error and a refund would be issued right away. Upon emailing Total Woman Customer Service I was told that since I had an automatic debit from my bank account that It would take 6-8 weeks for a reimbursement check to be issued or that I may call to provide my debit card # for a reimbursement within 3-5 days. It has been impossible to reach a live person at the telephone # given.

It has now been 5 weeks and I have yet to be reimbursed. Considering this was an error on Total Woman's behalf this matter should have been reconciled weeks ago.Desired Settlement: Total Woman should reimburse me for the unauthorized amount charged as well as the last month's payment as this has been a huge inconvenience and has created an unnecessary financial stress for my family!

Review: I joined Total Woman July 29, 2014 and explained to them I may have to cancel my membership due to a problem with my back. I have spinal stenosis of the spine. They said it would not be a problem. I asked them what the cancellation policy was and they told me they would keep $100 of my $499 membership fee, which I paid up front, and reimburse the remaining $399. I cancelled on January 18, 2015 and have waited almost eight weeks to receive payment.I was only able to use the facility 7 times so I decided it wasn't worth it for me to continue so I cancelled my membership. I have no issue with the people or the facility--it is wonderful. However, Total Woman Corporate Offices refused to pay me the $399, and instead sent me a check for $224. The manager at the facility tried very hard to get Corporate to refund me the balance, to no avail. I am in my 70s, on Social Security, and can ill afford to pay for something I get no use out of.The Corporate Office (either [redacted] or F[redacted], was supposed to call me, but I have heard nothing from them as to why they decreased my refund. I have medical records, if they wish to see them, showing the dates of my injections into my spine that occurred on July 29, 2014 and September 30, 2014, and also records from Dr. Dearborn who replaced my hip. I was having issues with that in July also. It seems it takes an act of God to get a fax number for the Corporate Office in Southern California.My only advice to the women who join Total Woman would be to NOT pay a year in advance, because getting your money back due to early cancellation, for whatever reason, death included, is impossible. It would be better to use a credit card because you can cancel without all the haggling and nerve wrecking it causes to deal with this issue.[redacted] A. [redacted]

I want my $399 refund as promised--which was agreed upon when I joined. I informed the person who took my application I might have to cancel my membership because of health issues. (See above.)
