I am rejecting this response because:   This man is lying.  First, he never checked my phone because I did not have it with me when I went to his store.  I had left the phone on the desk at the AAA office.  Second, I called him immediately when I got home when I put the battery in the phone and found out it was dead and he told me to charge it overnight.  He was closed the following day so I called him on Monday when he was open.  He said he didn't know who I was and when I complained about the battery again, he told me he "didn't give a st" and told hung up on me.  I then drove to his business and begged him to make it right.  When he refused he then showed me the sign which he pulled out from under the desk saying no refunds, no exchanges all sales final which was not in sight when I bought the battery.  I called him a thief and he then exploded on me and he was the one using abusive language repeatedly calling me a f*g bh and a f*ing c*nt and told me to get the f* out of his store, I refused so he called the police.  After talking with both of us, it was obvious they could see what was going on, but there was nothing they could do about it since he had "the sign".  In finding other reviews on [redacted], etc., I saw that I was not the first this had happened to, and in talking to other businesses around town, i.e. [redacted] and [redacted], I found out that this man has an extensive reputation in Auburn as a dishonest and abusive man.  I am a 60 yr old grandmother on dialysis and my old razor phone is my lifeline.  I am not surprised about his response in denying everything and blaming it on me.  He is of Indian decent and I believe he is Hiindu, so I told him I believe strongly in Karma and what he puts out comes back to him tenfold.  I am out my $40 and still have no battery for my phone, but I have let it go and know that the universe will deal with him, but I am still shaken by how he treated me.

Ms. [redacted] came to our store looking for Motorola Razr battery. We check the phone and the new battery. The phone was working fine. After two days she calls and tells us that she has dropped her phone in the AAA parking lot and now it has stopped working. We ask her to come to the store so that we could help. When she comes the next day we see that the phone has stopped working. She tells us that the phone had fallen really bad. Even though we have No Return or Exchange Policy in the store we exchange her battery just for her peace of mind. After three days she calls again, this time with a threat that we should exchange her battery again or she will hurt our business. She goes on [redacted] and writes everything untrue. We realized right then that we shouldn’t have helped her in the first place. Next day she comes to the store again and uses abusive language and tries disrupting our business. Even the customers present were threatened by her mental state and therefore, we called the police. The police escort her outside.
We exchanged her battery twice. We sold over 100000 Batteries. We test the batteries before we sell to the customers. We have NO Return No Exchange Policy which is posted on the counter, on every receipt and also on the debit/credit card slip. We inform every customer before they buy from us.
Going to [redacted] and using abusive language will not change our Store Policy. We always help the nice people but not a crazy customer like Ms. [redacted]. People like her cannot be helped by any one. Please let her know if she comes to our store case will be filled against her with the Police and we will see her in the court.
Our Final decision to her complaint -  NOT EVEN A SINGLE PENNY REFUND OR EXCHANGE.

Review: I purchased a $40 replacement battery for my cell phone on Fri 9/19. The battery was dead and would not charge so I immediately notified the owner. I went in the next day and he gave me another battery which was charged when I left the store but by the time I got home it had died and would not hold a charge. I called him on Mon 9/22 and he told me no exchanges or refunds. He said he didn't care if I did business with him or not. I am out $40 and no battery. I then saw online there are numerous reviews on Yelp about the exact same thing. There is no doubt he is ripping people off and knows he is selling bad batteries.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for the battery I bought. He refuses to exchange or refund.

Review: Less then 5 months ago I needed a cellphone battery replacement and searched [redacted] here in Auburn locally and remembered there was a battery store in Auburn on Grass Valley Hwy, I've never been in before.

The man had 2 signs up posted about battery purchases, not responsible etc.

I asked why should I purchase from him and not [redacted],I felt comfortable with the explanation he'd given and made a purchase replacement.

My [redacted] battery lasted almost 2!/2 years, his less then 5 months (sigh)

I went in yesterday to ask for an answer, he got all upset and stating saying get out of my store....your not welcomed here, and cussing in a foreign language, very rude and I got a little upset myself, no one should be taken advantage of. He was unwilling to work with me and made me feel horrible, pointing at battery displayed signs and yelling.Desired Settlement: Bringing awareness as a fact no NEW battery last less then 5 months.

Someone should drop in his store and see what's going on or have him make it right as I wanted him too.

It happened to me, it'll happen to others

Response:

This is in response to the email we received from Revdex.com on 27th February, regarding a crooked customer. Firstly, by checking and wasting our time to go through all the invoices for the last 6 months, didn’t even find that she bought the battery in the last 6 months. Secondly, whenever we sell a battery in Totally Wireless we inform the customers about the “No Return” policy on the battery. This is also posted on the counter, written on the invoice and credit card slip. The customer acknowledges, accepts and signs on the invoice. This is so that no crook person can come later on and lie that he/she didn’t know about it. She was behaving like a crazy maniac person yelling on top of her voice, in spite of our reminding her of the presence of other customers. We had to show her the door. No store in the world gives a guarantee on a cell phone battery, and we are no exception. Revdex.com must ask for her original invoice. If that customer comes again in the store, she will be told to get out of the store right away. Totally Wireless does the business with 99.9% very loyal and nice people of Auburn. This kind of fraudulent scamming person is unwelcome in our store Our Final Decision NO RETURN/EXCHANGE, NOT EVEN A SINGLE PENNY RETURN AND HER ENTRY IN OUR STORE IS STRICKLY BANNED. Thanks, Totally Wireless
