DO NOT RENT OFFICE SPACE FROM BRETT TOTH 5716 CORSA AVENUE WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA
I am a real estate professional myself. I needed office space in Westlake Village and had an incredible negative experience with Brett Toth. I ran a google search on him and found this page which prompted me to add a comment about him as well. This man has a history of lying and gaslighting his tenants to their face. He will even vandalize their personal property if they attempt to ask him for reqeusts or favors. He rents office space as is and tries to take as little care as possible to his buildings. Read all fine lines carefully prior to signing any contracts with him. He will create illegal and unethical loopholes that will require you to seek legal action. Then he attempts to paint a picture of you being the crazy one. Save yourself from headaches and legal fees and do not lease space on Corsa Ave in Westlake Village or anywhere else that he owns property.

Refusing to give me back my deposit
He is refusing to give me back the deposit for the office space. I am writing this so others can be warned about Brett Toth. He is a narcissist and will turn everything on you and make you seem crazy. Taking him to small claims court.

ADL go after Bret Toth
He is an anti semetic landlord who turns you into crazy making. Don't fall in his trap. He knocked the mezuzah from our door. Previous reviews show he targets Jewish tenants. Lots of lawsuits against him and his father.

Brett Toth is an anti semetic narcissist. To all of you who are Jewish, or people of color I suggest you to lease office space elsewhere. It is not worth what you will have to put up with including harassing and threatening behavior. This man is dangerous and can get away with his behavior as he hires others to do dirty and illegal work for him to harass intimidate and bully his Tenant.

Racist bigot Bret Toth of Westlake Village CA
Bret Toth is a horrible landlord. He is racist, a bigot and a Nazi. He has harassed us just for being Jewish. His harassment usually occur on or close to Jewish holidays. Ive been told I'm crazy when in fact he has attempted to even vandalize my car. I will not renew my lease and will most likely attempt to file a civil lawsuit against him. Do not rent property on Corsa Avenue from him.

Don't lease
Reviews are spot on. He is an anti-semite and purposely harassed my husband and I for being Jewish. We are small businesses owners renting office space from him. I don't recommend him. He should be reported to the California Department of Consumer Affairs and his broker's license should be suspended.

Do not lease any office space from Brett him and his deceased father for years have harassed their tenants for years. They do not properly maintain their properties. They are a mean bunch, crazy, and dangerous tendencies. Rent office space from anyone but Toth family.

Brett Toth is a con artist and as someone who rented from him in Westlake Village I can say that the reviews above are true about him.

Review: In September of 2013, our company signed a lease agreement with T[redacted] Properties to rent out office space. Approximately 2-3 months later, our company expanded and we leased an additional suite next door on the same floor to increase square footage space. We ended up moving furniture into the new space, and add some employees go in and work in that office for a day or two. During this time, employees started complaining of headaches, teary eyes, and feeling lethargic as there was a very strong paint and carpeting odor in this specific suite which never seemed to go away. In an effort to protect our employees, we had all the employees working in that suite to go into the primary suite we were in (310). We continued to pay rent for this space for several months and asked the landlord to break the lease for this room since we could not occupy it. The odor even after 2 months did not subside and we never had employees work in that space again. During this time, we sent numerous complaints to Brett T[redacted] only to be verbally threatened via email and in person by himself and his parking attendant.Suite 310 also had many issues in that there was not an even distribution of air as some sections of this space would reach up to 95 degrees during the summer. After numerous calls and emails Mr. T[redacted] failed to fix the air unit in this space as well as all the soot that would come down from the vents. Not only would the temperature in the office get unbearable (to the point that we had employees either quit or threaten to file a complaint against our business), but some including myself were also getting sick with constant teary eyes, pink eye, migraine headaches and the feeling of lethargy. Mr. T[redacted] did n[redacted]ing about it and as a matter of fact stated that he wouldn't fix the issues in the unit unless we continued paying rent in the [redacted]er office space we had abandoned. When our lease was finally up, Mr. T[redacted] refused to give back our rent depositsDesired Settlement: We would like to get a full refund including deposit of the suite that we could note (332) which we could not occupy due to the strong odors that were making employees sickWe would like to get a full deposit refund for suite #232 which we took as is and returned in the same condition as when we occupied itBe reimbursed for my own personal medical costs directly related to the space in which we were occupyingBe reimbursed for the damages that were made to my car by the parking attendant

This lady, Debbie Farnoush, is one of the most craziest people I have ever met in my life. She is a con artist, a liar and didn't pay us 9 months of rent on her 2nd space she leased from us. Regarding supposed building issues, if the building was such a nightmare to lease, then why did you stay 4 months after you lease expired? Because the supposed problems were fake to justify not paying rent.
