Revdex.com, Thank you for taking the time to speak with me today in regards to the [redacted] complaint As I mentioned, this is a very unfortunate situation We take full responsibility for the current status of the project On Monday September 12, I spoke to Mrs [redacted] and asked if they would allow us to visit the home to complete the project She responded that Revdex.com contacted her husband and that the complaint was in mediation and they are going to wait for the Revdex.com to come back with a decision She also stated that they want to bring in a different contractor to finish the job I know we were originally denied, but we would like very much to finish the job that we started With the homeowner’s permission, we are prepared to complete the project at a significant discountThis is our first and only complaint We are humbled and have made the proper adjustments to ensure that something like this does not happen again We hope we can resolve this situation and move forwardI have included some pictures of the project It is actually a very beautiful kitchen

Revdex.com:The homeowners are willing to accept the resolution presented by Allpoint dependent on the amount of the discount. They also request that the old contract be dissolved and a new contract be written that includes the updated price as well as a solid completion date. The contract is also to include a clause that puts Allpoint into breach of contract, with no further money due, if Allpoint fails to have the project completely finished by the date specified in the contract. Also included will be a full warranty to cover the work completed. If anything fails or falls apart during the warranty period, Allpoint will immediately repair or replace the defects within a timely manner at no cost to the homeowners.Allpoint will be fully responsible for the completion of the kitchen by the specified date regardless of delays caused by their vendors, workers, or subcontractors. Before the new contract is written and the resolution is accepted, a representative from Allpoint will meet with the homeowners, at the residence, to discuss what still needs to be completed so that a reasonable completion date can be agreed upon.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11681752, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:Contract for Kitchen Remodel Project signed April 26, with he understanding the project would begin the week of 5-23-or 5-31-16.Estimated time for completion at the time of contract signing was 2-weeksActual project start date was 6-25-At the time the complaint was filed it had been weeks since start of projectIt has now been weeks since the contract for this project was signed.Homeowner relied on the expertise and assurance of business owner (***) that the corner cabinet and drawer pullout cabinet would be ordered to specs and fit the space.Homeowner was again assured at time of contract signing the cabinet would fit without any problems.Homeowner relied on the expertise of the installer and business owner regarding the decision to cut down cabinets to make fit when it was brought to the attention of the installer that its depth was ordered incorrectlyThe drawers have never closed properly and the bottom one has since fallen apart and is unusable. The space created by the change in dimensions of the corner cabinet was not plannedHomeowner and Business owner agreed to solution of pullout but it never came to fruition. The granite countertop has completely lost the seal on both sides of the sink resulting in an unsightly gap and a chip in the granite. The granite window sill has never been installed. The trim that was installed around the inside of the window frame is floor moldingA window treatment cannot be installed. The stair tile and staircase needs to be replaced.Homeowners have experienced continued excuses for subpar work and extensive delaysFamily problems on the part of the installers and business owners are very unfortunate; however the reality is they have nothing to do with our kitchen project This is not the fault of the homeowner.Business owner admits in his response that there have been delays and problems within the structure of the business caused by family issues, son's surgery, etc It is the opinion of the homeowner that the business can no longer fulfill its contract in regards to the expectations of the homeowner at the time of signingThe homeowner would like to be released from the contract with no further monies owed

Revdex.com, Thank you for taking the time to speak with me today in regards to the [redacted] complaint.  As I mentioned, this is a very unfortunate situation.  We take full responsibility for the current status of the project.  On Monday September 12, 2016 I spoke to Mrs. [redacted] and asked if they would allow us to visit the home to complete the project.   She responded that Revdex.com contacted her husband and that the complaint was in mediation and they are going to wait for the Revdex.com to come back with a decision.  She also stated that they want to bring in a different contractor to finish the job.  I know we were originally denied, but we would like very much to finish the job that we started.  With the homeowner’s permission, we are prepared to complete the project at a significant discount. This is our first and only complaint.  We are humbled and have made the proper adjustments to ensure that something like this does not happen again.  We hope we can resolve this situation and move forward. I have included some pictures of the project.  It is actually a very beautiful kitchen.
